I've been sitting in a parking lot somewhere in Bethlehem, PA since about 2:45 yesterday afternoon.

Mankato, MN. Sure beats sitting at Oak Creek, WI the other day, waiting for the tornado to come. Don't sleep well that way.

Thanks to one of our drivers who was driving with his head up his, well, let's just say he wasn't paying much attention to where he was going and ran over a concrete "jersey wall", I was able to pick up his load, bring him to the yard and sleep in my own truckstop, MY BED, last night :)

last night...Pilot on trinity lane in Nashville Tennessee.....a little better than an hour away from my own bed but i had to wait to pick up my load. The night before that...Jeffersonville Oh Loves. Thats exit is a private island compared to the Nashville Pilot.

In a hotel on breakdown til the freightliner shop gets around to me. If the pay was better I could get used to this.

If you are ever at that Pilot at night ,and can't find parking just stay on the road you take to the Pilot ,and just keep going up the hill there is plenty of parking up there , And there is a werner non security controlled drp yard up there that you can get away with parking in , and as long as you don't block any trailers in you will never even be asked to move ...werner shares many of their drop yards with other carriers so it's not un common to see non werner truch/trailers in werner drop yard.

I thought only drivers looking for skanky lot lizards stopped at the Pilot on Trinity lane or the T/A--or cruised across I-65(trinity road) to that 1st Motel on the left handside.....just go door to door---you'll find one by the 3rd knock.
