Im in Madison Wi, at the 1st stop of 4, plus a pickup starting in the morning.
given its Easter weekend-- people are also saying to "cut Shaffer" some slack- and I got to admit, the Holiday weekend kinda slipped up on me- was expecting Easter to fall in April for some reason. Should have been watching closer and been Home.

Where as I like the Volvo & Pete- I'd rather drive for a company that runs Freightliner Columba or Century-- I have Cabinet doors & a desk and furnature made for THIS model.---
But, a job is a job- got to go with someone who keeps you moving or at least willing to pay LAYOVER when THEY anal intercourse you! and move too many trucks into a area with no outbound freight.

I'm suppose to pick up a 370 mile load up to VT Monday afternoon for Tuesday deliver
Still setting here in Carlisle.

Ahh, was wondering where this thread got to.

Sayre, OK at the TA.

I feel so grown up. I pulled in, fueled, then parked it all by myself. Ok, so it was a pullthrough, not a back-in, but still.

Westbound with a load of frozen chicken heading for Ontario and some other place in the LA area. Multi drop, one scheduled for 7:00 AM Monday, the other for 9:00 AM. Only driven in the area once, and that was on a Sunday. I'm a tad nervous.

Heading for Laughlin, NV again today. We'll be there two nights, one in the truck (or in the casino or movie theatre or...) and the other in a hotel. I think we have enough time for a 34 hr restart.

Yup, trainer is confident enough to sleep through most stuff I do.

Now if only I were that confident...
