I'm a male and I don't like to drop trailers or get diesel on my hands. Nothing to do with sex of the driver.
Of course, I'd rather drop a trailer than do a live load/unload

the one i teamed with simply wanted to be a paid passenger and got into this business in hopes of finding some [foolish] man-idiot to take care of her. a month after i kicked her off my truck, she was fired. she then tried going on to a cousin company and they didn't even let her through their training period. they let her go as well. i know this because one of my good friends drives for that company. she was wanting to latch on to him and he wasn't going to have any of it. although, he's nicer than i. he does have his limits on what he can handle with the opposite sex.
before she was canned, she tried filing a complaint against me for unfair treatment. i told my bosses what the deal was. it was no different from what i had told her when i laid down the rules of my truck. the complaint was basically tossed to the side and it wasn't an issue afterwards. since then, i haven't teamed with anybody, nor do i plan to.

To be really honest, there are a lot of guys that are both nice and honest out here. The problem you have is that their former wives have treated them in a manner that has greatly encouraged them to keep quiet and remain unavailable to any woman ever again. No woman, no problem. Simple as that. So you can walk by any one of them in a truck stop, and never know it. They mind their own business, and allow you to do the same. You can see them a hundred times, and not once will they ever let on to you who they are. Best place to hide... Right out in the open.
