thanks SteveP, i'll give them a call tomorrow. Any experience in the bakken is experience I suppose. Seen a few ads also in the Williston Shopper also, i'll be looking into. I gave Sanjel a call yesterday, but theyre looking for "experienced fraccers", but theyre looking for laborers as well...not too sure if that entails me using my CDL or not. I guess I'll keep looking around. I got a call from Fox Run transport to haul water, but the guy I talked to didnt make it sound too busy there. He was talking about taking one run a day, and that was about the extent of the work. I dont know, maybe they haul a few loads of water a day and he didnt mention it also. Anyhow, good luck to everyones endeavor on making it in the oilfield!! good day!

Hello fellow Drivers, thinking about cooming down there in Sep from Anchorage, Ak any leads on good high paying company's I could contact before I get there? 20 yr CDL Class A driver could use some help on contacts. Thanks for your help

Hello everyone, i understand what some of you mean about finding a job in the oil field. Have made calls and applied and either i get "not hiring right now" or don't hear nothing at all. Starting to think if you are not there in ND they dont think you are serious. Any advice by anyone up there would be very helpful, cause i am very serious about working up there.

Anybody heard of or know of ND Energy Services? I got back an email from them asking to give them a call. I would just like to have a third party opinion before I waste anybodies time.

Hey Justruckin. Are you still working up in ND? Are they still looking for CDL Drivers? I've got my Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles/Triples endorsements. Do you think I'd have any trouble finding work up there? And also, I have over five years driving experience.

Anyone got any info on deer valley they offered me a job but it's 24 dollars strait time no over time and you sleep in the truck I think there 24 or 30 inch sleepers

"1/29/2012 North Dakota: Recently the DOT came in an enforced regulations over companies who service the oilfield via hauling water and oil... It used to be that we were oilfield exempt and guys could run long hours... Now, they've enforced the 14 on 10 off rule and owners are having their drivers do 12's, so their trucks run 12hrs but as drivers, we aren't getting near the same pay or opportunity... It's total bull and lots of drivers are walking. Leaving for places like Utah and New Mexico where new booms are starting... So all the money you think you can make here in ND has come to a swift hold. People who were making 650/day are now lucky to clear 200, plus paying rent and living in tight quarters. Boom's coming to an end, at least for the ground worker's profits."

Water Truck Driver in ND oilfields

Finally in talks with a couple companies to haul crude. Long story short, they all replied to my resume within 18 hrs of each other. My question is, do I let them know Ive received othe interested parties as well? Or do I just move forward with all application processes and see who has what to offer first? In terms of training, housing (free or discounted), pay (percentage or hourly),etc,etc? And what's considered a high % vs. whats a low %?
