Oh a super 10 it's setup like this

R 3/4 7/8

1/2 5/6 9/10

On a super 10 you shift like ya do on the high side of a 13. you split each gear. I'm trying to explain it to where it makes sense.

9 and 10 automatically shift, but you can program the ecm so you can control the shift yourself from 9 to 10 and vice versa.

With so much tlak about "coolie" companies I thought that is what you meant. Marten is considered a reefer company.

I talked to a friend of mine today that's a trainer and apparently we have some Cascadia's too. As far as the T-660 tranny they are probably putting 13 speed's in them like they have been in the T-600's for a while. The older T-600's have a 10 speed.

Do you mean the safety point system where if you use up all your points you're fired ? You start with 12 points and get another one each year you're safe, then if you do stuff wrong each different mishap has a different point value assigned to it. If you totally crash the truck it's like 25 point's so you get really fired. Backing into something is like 4 points. The graph with the point system should be in the handbook somewhere under safety. 8) 8)

I got your PM but have been too busy to get back to you with details about this the past couple days. I've researched the lease program here intensively and have ran the numbers every which way. It's not such a horrible deal but there's one thing that ruins the whole thing. Also, unless you have a bunch of money saved up when you go home and stay home for more than about 4-5 days at a whack you'll end up running in the red or close to it for 2 weeks. The week your home and the following week. Basically you need to turn in about 1300-1500 miles each week just to pay for the truck after fuel. Insurance, workman's comp, health, bobtail insurance, truck payment, APU payment and maintenance account. It is definitely better to just buy your own truck and lease on. With the companies fuel discount and cheap insurance among a couple other thing you can definitely do pretty good. I'll PM you with all the details when I get a chance. 8) 8)

Please tell me why they are ?? I don't know why that BS has to spill over into this thread. I appreciate your contributions to the board but can't believe someone that has never driven OTR has such a huge and vocal opinion about it. :?
