Houston to Houma, La 322 miles 2/23-2/25
Houston to Laurel, Ms 465 miles 2/24-2/25
Evadale, Tx to Marion, In 1031 miles 2/24-2/26
Wanna guess which one I took?
Forgot the destination and apologize.

Hmm, what times of day are those deliveries? and to whom do they deliver?
You're right, those three are hard choices--bad either way-- assuming early morning delivers with each--
(1) is 322/2days=161 a day
(2) is 465/2days=232 a day
(3) is 1031/3days=343 a day
so I too would have gone with (3)--- assuming they all have delivery appontments= before noon.
|
The In. one is the only one with a appt. time of 1000. the other two were just delivery times of 0800-1300. I also went with the In. one as with those miles and the two transflos I have to redo will give me a good week already. Also I know we usually have good loads that way up there but taking a chance as I know the weather could be not too good.
The other two are crap loads and anything out is crap. Crete has always sucked for loads or getting anyone home who lives too far south and I-10 is horrid period.

I sent 3 Transflos before I went to the house and got back to the truck and 2 came over the Quallcomm that was supposedly never sent. I went from a very good week for my home time to a crappy payday week. So with them two loads and this In. load I will have a good week hopefully.

That's very interesting. I had the very same thing happen to me on my 02/14 paycheck. I alway scan them from the truck and email them to Transflow. I have been doing this for well over a year without a problem until now. After not getting a paycheck I did some checking and with the use of confirmation #s I was able to prove to Crete that they had been sent (to keep safety off my back for late logs). They had me resend them via Pilot and said that my previous files were corrupted, probably because I sent them from the truck. I reluctantly accepted this theory until now. It made for a ridiculously high paycheck last week and brutal tax deductions.
Did you Transflow your trips via laptop or truckstop.

No I transfloed them all from the Wilmer terminal. I can't remember why I transfloed one a second time but glad I did as that one was the only one that went through. I think it was because I thought I may have forgotten one of the receipt pages. I have transfloed there several times before with no probs. Gonna only make a almost 1300 mile week but on the plus side with the two I have and this laod here will give me a decent week. If I can get a decent overnight run then I can have a very good week.

If you think Crete's solo drivers sit a lot, you ought to ask some of their teams..two drivers, sit twice as long.
