Same goes here. Gave up my cushy mail run for a local fuel hauler. The big trick is to not come home stinky, but it seems like that will only happen if i screw up. I prefer the "home every night" rather than the "out 1-6 days" I got at Transwood. Nothing wrong with that company, just not my bag, baby.

What about you, Carlo? I'm just a casual lurker here, but you seem to be one of the prime movers here. We're all curious when you decide to make a big move.

I saw one version of this vid (the shell station) on youtube, and the caption claimed the guy was up there using a cell phone. Yeah, sure.

They do come in different colors, but i thought the red would match his new truck. when he goes back to cheap food-grade. after the cr engl, , deal doesn;t work out . LOL
and no carlo i didn't lose my helmet or sippy cup. i just can;t remember where i left them . and they have let the windows down on the bus so i am having a hard time licking them. keep getting my tongue stuck.
and just think i haul 9200 gallons gas.

Cool

Glad to hear ya got it Jay! Man, what is it with y'all and the whole C.R.E. deal? Sounds to me that y'all are really bucking for that company, so perhaps ol' Grandpa and Soundman11568 (see, proper spelling Jay lol) should precede me to fill me in on what I can expect there and all the big $$$ I cam make there! Hahahahahahahahahaha......

:moon:

Naw, think the next truck is going to be blue, or red, or maybe even gray or white. Hmmmmm, that should make it a little harder for you to figure out where I'll be at!!! Jerky.....

Jay and Rob..... Man, y'all got it all wrong. I'll see those silly statements and raise you a cheap outfit where I can have that big chicken truck whoop whoop!

Look at that pay scale, second to none! Looks like a reefer version of Indian River!!!

Sticking with Superior for a while. I don't want to miss the training on how to fill out a log book and do a correct pre/post-trip.

I had a couple of them TMC inspections. The only question was about my silicone Party Doll. I told them that the USA and Canadian
customs were cool that it was NOT a passenger. That put their minds at ease. Oh yeah, and the Astro Slide is not a banned substance by either Canadian or USA DOT. Seems my filthy truck has affected my mind

Also want to see if my system flies with the new GPS log auditing. It's nothing spectacular. Just testing the envelope and keep my head from turning to total mush.

Jobs are out there. But the Little Filly (aka Super Model) is nagging me to stay put for a while. I guess she's killing time (in between photo shoots) enjoying the med/dental benefits.

In the meantime, I keep plugging away. The apex of my Superior career seems to have been achieved. I get 1800 - 2100 miles per week. I can run for months on end and not need a 34-hour. I am one efficient em effer!

I contributed to our safestat demise today. Got a "level 2 hazmat check" at the Ga weigh station on I 85 North of Atlanta. All they could find was a placard obscured by the placard holder on the side and one on the back that wasn't perfectly vertical. I fixed the side ones with my seal cutters right in front of Barney Fife but he still wrote it up. This was a dedicated trailer that gets top loaded and the placards stay on it permanately.
