Money for an attorney for a trumped up BS charge like this is money well spent. It was a fender bender, not a school bus full of children. Now I know why I don't run Oregon anymore. Too many cops with way too much time on their hands...BOL as always. Keep the "old boy" running...

I agree about representing yourself especially when they are trumping up the charges.

I still did not hear from the one attorney and I think I am going to go with the people at Road Law. I made our reservations today for Medford we will leave on the 30th of November after our Bankruptcy hearing and I am planning on us leaving down there around 5:00 p.m.

I think the hearing in the morning should be relatively quick but just in case I wanted to give some extra time. After the hearing if there is time I want to do some legal research at the courthouse and get some pictures were the accident occurred.

My husband and his trainer are in Fargo North Dakota my husband drove about 470 miles today. His trainer is driving more tonight.

They want to deliver the load on Wednesday instead of Thursday. The load is due Thursday around Boston Massachusetts.

All the research your doing and information you've compiled is admirable. I wonder though why you don't have an attorney to represent your husband in this case yet? Don't you think the attorney is going to need time to go over your research and perhaps do some of his own, before he shows up in court? I'm not blasting you... far from it. I'm just curious that's all.

I have spoken to a couple of attorneys. I was waiting for one other attorney to get back with me before making the decision of who will represent my husband. The one attorney who I think we may end up using told me to give him two weeks. I will have one by the end of tomorrow or by Tuesday of this week.

I wish the attorney was going to be there instead of having an associate there.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. The associate is also a lawyer, and the proceedure is fairly routine.

I am not sure if they have actually associates in Oregon or if they just find someone from there. It sounded like they handle the case and find someone to make an appearance.

Yesterday my husband drove around 470 miles into Grand Lakes Indiana. After he finished driving his trainer was going to drive for a while so I do not know were they stopped last night.

My husband and his trainer dropped the load off yesterday morning. They sat the rest of the day and have a load to pick up this morning in Newark, New Jersey. This load will also be going to Chatsworth, California.

They are going to attempt to get there as fast as they can so that they will not be stuck down in California for the long Thanksgiving weekend.

It would be nice if they were up this way for Thanksgiving.
