If you don't want the trainee on the truck with you, you can tell your FM and we'll get you another student. However, you have to at least give the student a chance and get on the truck with you for a little while. Trainers receive solo pay for all miles driven in the truck, even the miles the student drives. They also receive $350 per 150 hour student upgrade, $200 on 100 hour student upgrade. After that, they receive 1 cent per mile for every mile the student runs after the upgrade for 6 months. Trainers are also eligible for a brand new truck every 18 months. Hope you like Volvo 780's

sounds like a good program as long as you dont run the truck as a team truck. Trainer should be watching the student and teaching

We run the super solo idea, trainers/trainees run about 3500-4000 miles per week. I agree with you, can't teach a trainee much if your sleeping.

roehl doesnt disp trainers as teams and also pays xtra per day depending on the exp level of students and stage of training $35.up to $65. xtra a day. plus all miles and another bonus aftr they have driven so long without wrecking anything. all u trainers r a brave bunch.

No doubt they're a brave bunch, my hat is definately off to them. A couple of the drivers I've hired call me with some of their funny stories about trainees on their truck. I forgot that we also pay $20 per day as long as the student is on the truck and truck is available for dispatch.

yeah i trained a usx a long time ago some of the stories my trainer told me about other trainers made me glad id never have to train again.
