I have finally arrived in Des Moines. My luggage however is still somewhere between Newark and here. It should arrive by Noon in theory. I just hope that I don't need anything first thing.

Oh, and my flight was delayed due to "mechanical difficulties" So by the time I got my lost luggage claim filed, got checked in at the Baymont, and got the application paperwork filled out I only have 2 hours to sleep before I have to be up for the 6:30 am start, so I guess I'll push through and load up on Coffee.

On a very sweet note I am supposed to be sharing a suite with two others. They have not yet arrived, so I have a microwave, fridge, and coffeepot all to myself. (Future TMC applicants note that only a few rooms have these amenities - don't expect it.) The three to a room deal is because we have 95 people in this weeks orientation.

And whither then? I cannot say.

OMG 95??? 3 to a room? That is amazing. You will lose 5-10, if not more, by Friday. Columbia is supposed to be upgraded to take more. Other terminals are being built/bought/upgraded to take some of the pressure off DSM, as a training facility and as a terminal. 95 has to be a record.
