$2.35 on all miles including all deadhead to and from pickup, all the miles on the island and minimum 1000 miles from North Sydney to Quebec. Pluc tickets of course. And I would only go in the summer when the Argentia ferry is running and my delivery is in St. John's.

Did you call about that load out of Halifax? If that works, you might be able to fill your trailer in Maine. 5 ton truck weighs 26,000, delivers in Little Rock, pays $2,315. Total OOR from Halifax to Dallas is 110 miles.

Just booked a load from the ferry! $6,968 to Landstar. I'm going to Nevada baby! Loading in Quebec the day after tomorrow. Gotta love Internet.

Port of Baltimore to Toronto. 10'-6" long x 9' - 4" wide x 11,000 lbs. It was offered to me at $2,400 on 470 miles incl ~ $250 in permits. I can't get there in time.

I wouldn't do this run for less than $20k to the truck.

I didn't see it on the board. They probably didn't post it. I need to make some money before the end of the year, so I grabbed the highest paying load I saw out of the area. The deadhead is not too bad: it's 565 miles from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. I'm back in the civilization and will start trucking now towards Quebec. All in all I spent over 2 weeks on this Newfoundland load... I think they should pay extra when you're delayed at the ferry.

Yep it was on Landstarbroker.com. There were some real losers on there too. One dude wanted to drive a 35,000 lbs excavator up on ramps. I said, "Have you done this before or is this a one time shot with my trailer?". He said it was a one time shot.

If I were you, I think I would look into filling up your trailer with some US to US freight on this QC to NV trip if you have room....maybe out of Chicago. That's a long trip and you should have plenty of opportunity.

For my part, I had 3 trucks in Lancaster, PA yesterday supposed to be loading steel plate out of Dundalk. Turns out the broker was a liar and he didn't have the loads locked up so we all DH'd 480 miles back to the yard.

Where in QC are you loading?

I thought this was only allowed for US drivers who travel in Canada where they can take a LTL shipment going between 2 points in Canada, as long as their "main" shipment was going to US. Are you sure about this, rank? I don't want to spend the New Year Day in prison. The stuff I'm picking up will probably take the entire trailer. It's some metal parts and the weight is 30,368. I'm loading in Mont Joli, QC.
