I have a fuelman card but since I'm home daily it's cheaper for me to use the local filling station for fuel. However it's still not 1.91 gal.
Rev, does Landstar offer the same discounts to the broker carriers that have there savings card? I recently signed up with Landstar but haven't filled out the Cost plus card application, or whatever they call it for broker carriers.

United has a deal with Comdata and Transadvantage for discounts on diesel at Pilot, TA, and Petro. I forget what it is, sice I use my own debit card and not Comdata.

RostyC if you are parking at home why not just get a tank for the house. That's what I do and it is consistently .30 cheaper over the best pump price I can find and I don't have to fight with 4 wheelers to get fuel, well aside from my own

What kind of costs are associated with that? Tank rental or do you just buy the tank? If so how much for a tank? I saw one guy do that but didn't get the chance to ask. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I can't say. The Cost Plus discount is automatically applied whenever I use my Comdata card. If I don't use the Comdata card, I don't get the discount.

RostyC give Carroll Fuels a call at (410) 235-1066
I use LS Fuels out of town here but they would not go as far as your house. I paid a deposit on the tank and have automated delivery (once a week) there is a minimum delivery charge but if I take over 300 gallons, delivery is included in the fuel price. Basically you just need to have enough money to fill it up for the first time and a small deposit.
Sorry about the hijack Allan5oh

That is an incredibly foolish statement. I don't care what your rates are a good business man is always looking for ways to operate more efficiently in order to edge out the competition. And if you are suggesting you make no effort to control or reduce spending on what is now the largest expense for a trucking company you are absolutely running a sophomoric business that will surely fail.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
