That's where Steve Tyler from Aerosmith grew up. His parents still live on the lake. The original drummer in Aerosmith, Dave Scott, is a friend of mine. His parents made him go to college instead of hanging out with a bunch of musician freaks. Now he's an unemployed accountant. I'm surprised Dave hasn't killed his parents!!!

I ride my Harley past the lake a bunch of times during the good weather. It's really nice through there.

 

Yeah...I use to hear a lot of stories from when they were playing locally.

His sister teaches at North Walpole Elementary.

My daughter had her for a teacher and showed me a pic of her and her class....poor lady looks just like Steve. :shock:

I was in the MickeyD's in Newport when it sometime after it opened and ST showed up.

I never did get my freakin' lunch order taken.

 

You probably met the late Dale SR and never even knew it!!

I have met Dale JR and Dale Jarrett and I made soap for Hendricks Racing....long story.

I REALLY miss living in NASCAR country. I hopefully will be home by the end of FEB....as soon as i can get away from an idiot.....

I went to the Coke a cola 600 the year Mark Martin won....that was ALOT of fun. 8) 8) NASCAR fans are the BEST to be around!! There was a couple at the race that sat in fornt of us all decked out in their Jeff Gorden stuff.....well after driver intros (everyone boooooing Jeffy boy) they disappeared and then came back about an hour later with Dale Jr stuff on :shock: THAT was funny!!

Man, I'm gonna have to dig through 20 disk drives to find those pictures. Now you got me wondering who was there. I know I took pictures that night. I even had my tripod.

 

I'm going to Daytona Feb., 9th-16th. Will watch the gatorade dual. Shorter race during the day. Bringing my son, he will enjoy it. Folks live in Ormond Beach. Oh, I'm a Jr fan. 8)

 

My mother lived in Port Orange down the road from your parents.

 

You forgot Fontana. Although there is a lot of talk of having only one race after this year because of attendance.

This is the second Nascar race I went to. I went to the Bud Shootout last year. Really cool, enjoyed it alot. You get all pumped up when you hear, and feel all that horsepower. Also, they sell those huge cans of beer there.
