Here in New Hampshire, solar panels are at least a few feet off any surface. My guess is that the first snow and ice build up will torque those panels and break them apart.

I'm interested how much you will be able to scale after your loaded up with full fuel and stock? Many, many of my loads are 48k right on the nose. I'm also curious how much weight you will be able to put on your drives without going overweight? It's one thing to scale 48k but if you can only have 10k on the drives your out of luck with a load of lumber.

What do you sleep in? A sleeping bag? Can you make up your bed with sheets, blankets and a comforter and close it up? Your mattress looks like a piece of foam?

Not trying to be negative here. Just some curious observations. I personally would take your truck in a heartbeat except for your lettering. My first impression was a milk delivery truck.

There are so many things I did to this truck,...up in the 100's I have a list but it would bore the crap out of you guys. I ended up doing everything, when the truck came back from the RV shop, and they screwed up the A/C drain and it filled my walls with water,..I had to strip the truck back down to the sleeper frame and aluminum skin,..and start over. This time with a few changes.
There is too much to list, and I have more detailed pic's but this is what I have on me right now.
VERY VERY NICE DOGHOUSE !!!!

I've still got to do the inside stuff on the sleeper on my Pete. It's 100 in now instead of 63 .. It has all new upholstery n a wood floor n wood ceiling with a 3 bladed ceiling fan with a 3 light cluster (just like in a house) that was the best improvement I made to that truck other than the sunroof in the cab .. But I have'nt put the bed or a counter or the shower ect ect in it yet. How much did the RV people charge you and where did you find them ??? I'm takeing mine to Atlanta in a few weeks for a outa frame on the B model !!! How long is your sleeper ???

Quality foam is more than adequate for some of us to sleep on.

Nice ride, Doghouse. If my sleeper looked that good, I might never haul a load. I would just find a place to park and enjoy myself. What type of sleeper is that?

By the way Ash, one of the neatest sleepers I have seen in recent years was a 379 Pete with 2 63" sleepers put together. The guy pulled a car hauler. He had it set up where he could put 2 cars on top of his truck. The sleepers were flat tops. I used to see him in Eastern Ohio sometimes. It was black. From the looks of it he must have had several coats of lacquer the way it shined. He had it painted black.

UN-FREAKING-REAL!

I agree with Merrick. Forget trucking and start converting sleepers.

I thought that was Will Smith.
