you can still get fuel some places in OR by answering yes to "do you have a permit?" They will take your license plate number when you say you'd have to look it up when they want the number. I think they will catch you if you're lying but have given your true plate number and state. No doubt this won't be true any place in OR soon.

As far as getting loads,..well,... I post my truck on GL and IT and wait for my phone to ring, I won't take anything for less than $1.60, and so far so good, I have had a steady stream of decent loads. The best so far was $4.00per mile on 500 miles, the worst was $1.60per mile on 3,100 miles.
I have reconfirmed that my mileage is 7.5 full loaded, and 8.5 to 9.2 with 30,000lbs or less,..even on hilly terrain
What are the specs on that truck again?

No boots needed here guys. I check my mileage weekly and I do it by filling up,....running the day and then filling up again at night. No computer on the dash,..no hoodoo.
I ran 532 miles on 59 gallons of fuel,...hilly terrain (not mountains that is) with 28,000lbs on the deck (gross weight 61,140lbs)..,, 9.0mpg. My specs are DD60 11.1 365hp,Eaton 10 speed,410 rears, low pro 22.5's. RPM at 55mph 1450. 55 is where I stay at.

Running south 300 miles on I-81 at 80,000 lbs, then running north empty, I get about 7.5 miles to the CDN gallon...that's approx 6 to the US gallon. I try to keep it at 65. I'd like to try that 55 mph experiment but I would run out of hours before I got home. The other drivers are getting 5.5 - 6.5 miles to the CDN gallon driving 70mph. I'd like to throw a 9 at them.

![]() you and 20,000 other cars and trucks I am just not in a hurry, if I run out of hours,...I just park it and chill. This partials run had open ended deliveries on 2 out of 3 stops,..so it worked out well. It amazing that as slow as I go,...better than 50% of the rigs that pass me cut back in front of me within 50".
