You're just saying "It's not the same. It's not the same." without any reasons why.
Ingest product.
Get sick.
Say you'll never do it again or do it again the next weekend.

There is no difference except the severity of your symptoms.

And I'm done hijacking Steve's thread. If you want to continue, PM me.
It is not the same.... if one goes out drinking, they know that if they have to much or change up drinks ( beer before liquor never sicker, liquor before beer never fear.) you are going to have a hangover or be sick.
I would gladly take my worst hangover ever over food poisoning any day.

No I didn't take that load, Steve. We sat at home all week....to much snow in upstate NY to get out and no good rates anyway. Best I could do was some LTL stuff (everybody wanted TL) but I don't dispatch a truck for free so we sat. LTL is looking OK this week tho.

I only heard about that load of lime because I posted your truck on DAT, Get Loaded etc a few days ago and CH Robinson called at 2:30pm on Friday. I just fired you the e-mail because I knew you were looking to reload for the northeast and thought you might be interested.

Judging from the story I think you had already canceled. That's probably why she moved so much on the rate.

Yup, that's the scoop. I thought maybe you were in the area and took it. You would have passed right under my truck. You did get a much better rate than I did although i didn't haggle. There are tons of freight heading back to NH from VA so I was happy.

I think I'm going to stay here all day. I'm still sick although I'm not throwing up any more. Not too sore but I still have to stay near the bathroom and I have no strength. Still dizzy too.

Delirious dreams of trucking last night. Being forced to take flatbeds that were 110 feet long into NY city. 16' heights heading for 13'6" bridges.

Tootie and her hubby stopped by last night and visited me. Nice couple. I was probably 50 feet from there truck but couldn't see it. They left pretty quick when I told them I was going to be sick again.

Yes Serbe, it's everything I thought it was going to be. I was very concerned about getting loads and it's easier than I thought. The trick is bartering for a better price as Rank as shown me. Getting more money for going into areas that you can't get out of like I just came from. I'll learn but I think it takes experience to be able to think that quick on the fly when the brokers call. They want an answer on the spot so you need the experience to think and calculate quick.

Right now I don't care about anything. Not sure if I'll try and drive a little today. This is a very nice truck stop and I have front row parking. You would probably laugh at me. When I got here I was maybe 4 rows back. I watch TV and read he forum. when I see a driver in front of me pull out, I pull up. I finally made it to the front...LOL

So, maybe at noon I'll see how I feel and post my truck as available maybe 200 miles from here. Not sure I can drive a long ways yet. I know my next load will be no tarp.

I am glad you are feeling better, Steve. Something like food poisoning can certainly take a lot out of you, LITERALLY. :P There is no point pushing yourself until you feel better.

I didnt really detect a strong accent. I know my southern accent is a dead give-away for me.

I don't have an accent, it's all you other people that do. lol

I may be here tomorrow too, not sure. I only went out once today and it was a chore even walking up 5 stairs. It's like I don't exist and sort of float through the crowd inside totally oblivious to anything else going on.

I'm not throwing up anymore or hostage to the bathroom. I ate a muffin this morning and that's all I can taste all day.

I'm sick of the CB and the trash people are talking.
