No, I'm on the road delivering first thing in the morning in VA then I'll get another load and find a truckstop to park at and watch the game.

No, but I have a pretty ex wife I'll hook you up with if a house hasn't landed on her yet.

Man, I am out there. I've been driving all morning in South Dakota at 75 and nothing. The road isn't that bad but every once in a while you hit a dip and you have to check and see if your trailer is still attached.

Drove through Wisconsin yesterday and saw 2 trucks get blown off the road. I'm assuming they were empty.

Got pulled into a weigh station along with everyone else for a level 1. Got a written warning when they calculated I had averaged 41 mph on a 65mph road. I stopped and helped 3 ladies and changed there flat. I was suppose to log that in my book!!!! And by the way, both inspectors loved my home made log book and how organized I was. So there!!!!!!!!

Now I know where all used vans go when they are no good. They're all in Dakota used as signs. And what the hell is Wall Drug. So far I've passed at least 100 different signs about it but they really don't say what it is. This place better be the most mega store in the U.S.

Had to idle my truck at 1,000 rpm last night or it was blowing cold air. Everything under my bunk is frozen solid. Was up at 2am doing laundry and some older trucker talked to me for a few seconds then procedded to put a bottle of fuel additive in his jacket and walk out. I said, hey buddy, don't forget to pay for your stuff before you leave. Scum bag. Use me to block the view will ya.

Dakota is pretty cool. The hills are like 10 miles long so you really don't lose any speed going up.

Hey Steve! That Wall Drug is a little, tiny store in Wall,SD. Be careful, or you will miss it. :P Yeah, there is some open country up there in the Dakotas. I used to run up there all the time. Sounds like, youre not too far from Rapid City, and the Blackhills. Did you happen to see Murdo,SD? I used to run through there all the time, and then up to Onida. The Dakotas remind me of the old west. Not Southwest, but old west. The towns are far, and few between, and all the towns look like they have been around for 100 years.

So what happened with the loser....did he pay for the additive or get caught trying to steal it?

Yup, reminded me of the old west also. Lots of places where people live that looked as if they have stood still in time. Pretty cool stuff.

Wall Drug was neat also. I walked around town which was pretty much dead and had lunch in the cafeteria. I thought it was going to be crap and it was awesome. Picked up a local paper and was checking out rentals. You can rent a 4 bedroom house for $650 there.

The guy did pay for the additive. I said it loud enough so the cashier heard and he said, "oh yea, almost forgot". Normally I would not have done anything but I was pissed that he used me as a shield and made small talk which he obviously didn't care about.

I forgot to mention about this morning while driving. It was snowing out and the snow was like waves running across the highway. I guess because it was so cold out and no humidity it was like little silicon balls. The right lane was OK and the passing lane had like 2 inches on it but not sticking. Just sort of sitting there. I didn't see a sole for hours and then another truck passed me. As soon as he went by I was completely blinded by the snow. I mean total white out. I let off the pedal and was going to hit the brake but figured I would have panicked and locked it up so I just guessed where the road was. It was a good 10 seconds before I could see and I was over the line on the passing lane and ready to go off the edge.

I took a 2 hour nap 5 minutes later at a rest stop!!!!!!!!!

I'm still in South Dakota at a Flying J at exit 61 and shut down for the night. Called the customer and he's going to meet me at a big parking lot early in the morning. He drives a flatbed also and says where it's going is not easy to get into and is a mess right now. Nice of him!! This is my first stop in Sheridan then the second is in Rock Springs. I hope I can make it there for dinner time and try out that Chinese restaurant.

All in all a good day of cruising fast and straight. I love being out in no mans land. PA SUCKS
