I'm not sure. She's heading down next month on the Tampa side and will buy a house in a week. She's been on the internet looking and in contact with a broker. She's a lot like me and will hit the road running when she gets there and make up her mind pretty quick.

My phone has been ringing with many load offers. The best one yet was for $1.06 per mile.

Not sure what's going on today but all the loads are paying $1.00 per mile. I go to a small diner for breakfast in the morning and the owner is a previous truck driver. He was talking to a lot of his old buddies over the weekend and they are all starving hauling load after load for $1.00. He also know the owner of a large trucking company and I think it's MS Carriers. He said they will haul those loads one after another because it pays to get there drivers out of the area into a better one. I always wondered what happened to those loads I turned down.

So looks like maybe another day of naps and watching TV.

Well, I got a load going to PA tomorrow and won't post the rate. I don't want my air lines cut. :?

I look on the load boards and there's 6 loads going out from my area and 276 going out of PA so I think my chances will be better by cutting and running to a better place.

So my 3rd trip begins and I know I'll get stuck in that sink hole Texas yet another time. Never fails.

Yes and no. :P I was at our terminal next door when I posted, but I later bobtailed over to Shoemaker's for an ultimate burrito.

If you go into Montana be sure to have your logs and paperwork in perfect order. The DOT will ticket you in a New York second for the slightest mistake or discrepency. ( ones that CHP would overlook or allow you to correct.) I

LOL.

I found a reload for you, if you're ready to go to Ontario, that is. 122" wide, 38,000lb flatbed + tarp load that pays approx $2.49 US/loaded mile after permits ($1275/510 miles). It's not far from southeast PA.
