[quote="Skywalker"]Hmmm, I didn't expect this kind of response.....

On the other hand...one other poster was right on the mark.... PILOT SUCKS!!! Its pathetic that as busy as they are...they can't have more than one cashier working the fuel desk!! I know guys have to get bills scanned and all...but daggnabbitt.... for more than one load when there's a herd waiting to get other stuff done? But again its as much Pilots fault....and they suck when it comes to "customer service" in many of their locations. Some are good...and others just are horrible!

I'm glad I can fuel most anywhere...actually if they take Comdata... I can fuel there... 8)[/quot

Customer service in general has been going down hill for awhile. It just isn't truckstops. Some people act as if you are bothering them when you want to get some service in a fast food place. All I want is my sandwich. You advertise that I can have it my way. So why don't I get it the way I ordered it? Assholes

I hate when I would find a space with no neighbors and then a car hauler with weed burners backs in on my left and then a reefer pulls in on my right.... How and then h*!! am I suppose to get some sleep now. :x
Why don't the reefers go park on the back row or vice versa. Leave us skateboarders alone... Sheesh...

Reefer drivers gotta sleep too ya know. I always tried to park in the back row. But when the back is jammed up with sleeze balls looking for a lizard and Swift drivers that couldn't find a pull through and were afraid to try parking anywhere else, there isn't much choice.

I can certainly understand oversized and car haulers parking out back. As far as that crack on Swift drivers I'd rather them park where it's easy than risk taking off someone's hood, mine or otherwise.

I tend to go for 2 space slots while I get used to backing this Classic XL my company has me in. I'll be glad when I get a Cornado as I hear from our drivers they turn much better than the Classics.

I don't disagree that keeping the hoods on everyones truck is a good idea. I was merely pointing out that there is a tradeoff. If every nervous backer takes the back row to make life easy, then we mix in the "party row" dolts and the oversixed guys, the back row fills up quick. So, in exchange for keeping your hood, you might have to suffer through a reefer next to you once in awhile.

Well, if they are nervous backing a columbia or a volvo then maybe they will take the reefer parking next to them as incentive to brush up on backing.

i've learned to prefer a single spot so i don't have to worry about waking up in the middle of the night because someone clipped my mirror using the Braille™ parking method.
