Know what you mean about Laredo. Never had lights missing but every single time I went to pick a trailer up the glad hand grommets were gone. I always carry spares.....it's just that the thievery is annoying. :|

If you are using transflo scanning and have a bundle of stuff to be scanned....park it in a parking spot, then go do it. Also, don't park on the fuel island and go take a shower, eat lunch, wander off chasing bees or smelling the daisies. Have a little consideration for your fellow drivers!

Also...truck stop parking lots are not NASCAR ovals....move through them slowly. It seems that alot of drivers think they are needing to race in parking lots. Its not "cool", its stupid and dangerous. It would be a real bummer to have to fill out all the paperwork and tell safety your little "story" how you tore up your truck or someone else's while "truckin" through the parking lot. Oh, yeah....if its a dirt or gravel lot....the objective is to see just how little dust you can create....NOT how much.

Act like a "grownup"...not some adolescent "puss-brain".

Remember...."Stupid is as Stupid does"!!

AND TURN YOUR FREAKING JAKE BRAKE OFF!!

i know i suck at parking, thats why i park in the back, and i also give up after a couple tries when i know im holding up traffic.

but worse, is the guy who pisses on the asphalt near his truck when there is a bathroom just 500 feet away.

Condsidering some of the truck stops in the country, chances are the parking lot is cleaner than the bathrooms. Usually any parking woes are in truck stops that have very little space to begin with. Its usually why I start driving at 4am and stop around 2pm. Having to struggle for a space in a crowded lot is just sign of poor trip planning on the driver's part.

I do the same thing you do by starting my day early and ending early when the lots of empty but it's not always possible with picking up and delivering sometimes you have drive until 8pm or later and then shut down and search for a spot. Sometimes you can get lucky and find someone pulling out as you're pulling in...

I agree completely with the complaints mentioned so far. It never ceases to amaze me the power of human stupidity.

Hmmm, I didn't expect this kind of response.....

On the other hand...one other poster was right on the mark.... PILOT SUCKS!!! Its pathetic that as busy as they are...they can't have more than one cashier working the fuel desk!! I know guys have to get bills scanned and all...but daggnabbitt.... for more than one load when there's a herd waiting to get other stuff done? But again its as much Pilots fault....and they suck when it comes to "customer service" in many of their locations. Some are good...and others just are horrible!

I'm glad I can fuel most anywhere...actually if they take Comdata... I can fuel there... 8)

If I pull in and fuel and the same truck is still in front of me (Pulled forward) after I have gone inside, waited in line, got my ticket and filled my coffee cup I am very patient. I Fill out my log to show fueling, check my GPS for next stop, ask pilot cars if they are ready to go then walk up take off both fuel caps with side cutters, (I have quite a collection,) It does wonders for fuel consumption or lack there of, then back up and blink on down the road. If you plan on parking at the pumps to eat, take a shower and then get scr**ed just make sure a large, Black, 4 axle W900L with a148 inch sleeper and a 3x3x3 doesn't pull in behind you ! Oh, I have been known to take the side cutters to Reefer control wires and unlatch back doors to. You be an assh@@l by sleeping on the pump I can be a bigger one
