I have seen many times on ads about LOOKING CLEAN CUT......
So I'm just wondering what they mean about BEING CLEAN CUT. I've seen alot of drivers and they are not super models(no offense), if you know anything about it let me(theDumba##) know...

In the trucking industry, "Clean Cut" means that you have bathed within the past 14 days whether you needed to or not, and that your clothes have been washed within the past month.

It also means that instead of using aftershave lotion or cologne, you have made the extra effort to find a nicely scented bug spray to use on your hair and beard (if you have any hair or a beard), and also under your armpits and crotch.

if you were interested in a serious answer, it means things like No facial piercings, collar length hair for men, clean styled hair for women, no ripped jeans and muscle shirts. you know, common sense stuff.

personally, i wont work for anyone who makes a stink about driver appearance then gives me a crappy truck to drive. but... im an ahole.

and the best part is when u have driven all day and had a hard day at the office or whatever the case is.

All u want to do is stop and grab u a descent meal at best so u walk into the T/S sit down at the luch counter order then in it comes a 450 lb.
driver and his 400 lb wife that sit down right next to u each on botyh sides of u so you are trapped both flapping there pits have not taking a bath for a month or better.

There cut-off shorts and tank tops look like they just come out of the Dumpster then while your trying to enjoy your meal after a hard day they go to the B.U.F.F.E.T. come back to sit down next to you and swapping things across your food that you paid,btw remember these folks never washed there grubby hands.

So there is your KLEAN CUT in the Trucking Industry
