Your quote is pretty much describing what CFM does, almost every time he posts.

Ok....you got the entire post just before I deleted it. So you know who that was ment for.

But I do see your point.
As I stated before; I do try to stay neutral in any debate but if you go back and read a few of your and CFMs posts I think you would agree that there is no debate or anything constructive about them. They only BASH anyone who drives or is thinking about driving OTR. There is nothing wrong with having a different opnion, but state your case ( in a nice way ) and give the reader points to ponder. Stating that anyone who drives OTR is a fool doesn't give the reader much to reflect on.

I really don't know the whole story here but the way I read it, you think I was trying to bring you ( and others? ) down. I didn't mean do do that in which the way you imply. I DID want to bring you and CFM down off your "high horse" and debate in a fair way. As I said before, go back and re-read some of your and CFMs posts. Do you not think that is trying to bring someone down? Calling someone a fool for doing what they enjoy doing or what they have to do to provide for their love ones is not giving them a pat on the back.

Think about it,

P.S. No hard feelings. I REALLY mean this.

Ther are perfect jobs out there. As soon as "Hooters" has an opening for "official panty inspector" or Jack Daniels has an opening for "official 24hr taste tester" I'm hanging up the keys. I keep checking the websites at least twice a week.

My perfect job would be "Tour Bus Driver" for Brittany Spears. I think 24 hr. taste tester for Jack Daniels...also comes with the job description. :P
...and there are no panties to have to pick up and inspect.

The CB traffic was fun and the life on the road was at times like the movies, and even times better. Driver's were known by their "handles" as well as they could walk into a Diner 2000 miles from home and be greeted like a dear friend..."Hey Roadhog...how are you...haven't seen you in a month....have a seat...coffee...black with a hug...right?" haha.

Tell you what...I still live and drive like "they did" and enjoy my trucking experiences. Part of the reason I come here as well.

Last week I helped a new Driver move his ornery trailer tandems. I adjusted his brakes so the wheels would quit rolling and hold....and flipped the pin lock lever to where he needed the tandems set. He thanked me...and thought I was one of those old timers that has been driving for a lifetime. I told him no...I was a rookie myself not too long ago.
God bless you for helping another driver out!

In this day and age, it seems we're all too doggone busy to help one another out.

Life in the fast lane has gotten faster.

P.S. No hard feelings. I REALLY mean this.
First, I read the posting the CFM made within this post. One was agreeing about going to the beach. The second was agreeing with another driver about avoiding irregular routes. Niether was negitive.

I posted about how not everybody made to be a truck driver. And then I agreed with CFM about avoiding irregular routes. So where in the he!! did you get that we were bashing drivers? Not in this post, pal.

Second. Neutral my a$$. I disagree with you comment about CFM, and stated that drivers need to know what their self-worth is, and you ripped my posting apart, line by line, and made your comments for your own reason. Not only did you do this for your own reason, you didn't even reply to the message as a whole. And my message was, and always shall be, more money to the drivers. And I didn't care if you were OTR, LTL, local, whatever. It is too bad that you don't agree.

Third. Not take it personal? It's very personal. You didn't reply to our post within this listing, you replied to us. Yea, I bashed on JB. Not, lately, though. And when a driver posted something stupid, I let him know.

Of course, your a mod. So my posting here on this subject is over. Remember what the subject was?

Another man couldn't make it as a driver. Big deal. Many more won't make it either. If you forgot, look on page one.

Not personal? Yea, right.

Sorry to disappoint you RH. I won't be drawn into a pi$$ing match. He had his say and I had mine. In hindsight I should addressed him in a PM instead of on the board.

Oh well, I guess being a Mod. don't make you less prone to bad judgement sometimes.

isnt that what the PM button is for instead of hijacking threads with petty bullshit?
