At CRST, Cedar Rapids. The incoming new drivers that had already achieved A-CDL were placed in the infamous CRST "Bates Motel" along with the rest of us (schmucks
) that had already spent a couple of weeks there while attending the entire Kirkwood Community College training course. Suites ranged from 2 to 5 persons per room. Yes, I did say FIVE in one room (errrrr.........suite  ).Better accomodations (as opposed to the "Bates Motel") seemed to be reserved for the following: 1. Married couples. 2. Informed persons...... By this I mean persons that had researched boards like CAD, or had family/friend information that allowed them to demand to the recruiter that they be put in a commercial hotel rather than spending 3 days to (? days) waiting at Bates Motel for an available trainer. Hope this helps someone heading to Cedar Rapids.

Lewiston Idaho's Swift Academy was 2 to a room.
US Xpress is 2 to a room, if you want your own then you have to pay $27.50 for the room. (For Colton, Ca Orientation)

Just completed orientation with Star Transportation and we were all two to a room. The motel gave me the option of private for about $20/day extra. I almost took them up on it just because of the weirdness factor alone, but decided to wait and see how the first night went.
I'm glad I waited; I made a good friend because of it. My roomie turned out to be a really great guy and having somebody to talk to made the evenings pass a whole lot faster.
