Come now,
How do you know what I understand, Please...... This subject needed some light on it. I understand more then you realize, as I have been successful in raising one child so far in her second year at UCF and on my way with our second daughter. I am not going to get into my belief that organized religion divides and spirituality unites, You have a right to your beliefs as do I, but please don't assume I don't understand your walk with God as you know nothing of me, would that not be judging another? Judge not Yada Yada yada....... IT Is What It Is..... Timberwolf

I don't see this as a "Spiritual Attack". Quite honestly, I have always found it rather curious that the people who talk about being secure in their faith and right with God seem to be the ones who are most prone to "Satan Attacks".
The way I see it, we live in a troubled world. Wars, poverty, natural disasters, drug abuse, crime, and the list is endless..... In the end, I believe that when we become too enamored with what is wrong with the world, or in our own lives, we eventually loose our focus upon how we choose to allow these things to affect us, and what we will do about the problems that we face. Am I suggesting that prayer and faith are meaningless?? Certainly not!!! I am saying that at some point, we have to get off of our butts and deal with the situation. I once dated a girl who was a very devout Christian ,but she and her family always seemed to have money problems, which they attributed to "Satan Attacks"!! After helping them out for a couple of months, I finally sat down with them and told them "Satan is not the problem here; the problem is that you all don't know how to handle your money properly!!" Very shortly thereafter, this girl decided that sahe did not want to see me anymore. Win some, Loose some!!! Ultimately, GFI's Wife, this is but one encounter that your daughter will face as she grows into adolescence and early adulthood, and those times will be difficult, frightening, and at times, frustrating and annoying to you, but remember that the days ahead will also be difficult for her as well. In the end, you have to weather those days out one day at a time, and remember that in the end, if you have taken the time and effort to lay the proper foundation, and if you work at keeping the lines of communication open, you will have done your level best. THEN??? Let God do the rest!!!
