What a stupid post!!!!
Toothpick sounds like he is 16 yrs old and has six months experience. I agree with WindWalker. I am also one of those drivers who do 3 mph in the TruckStop. There are so many pedestrians walking around, suddenly appearing from between two trucks, and sometimes there are children running around between trucks!!!! I would rather go slow then run someone over.

In another case, one truck was backing into a spot and the other JUST HAD TO GET THROUGH BEHIND him. The guy backing hit the other trailer just behind the middle, and the guy RACING through the lot got his entire frame for the rear doors taken off the trailer. It and the back doors were hanging from the left side of the trailer. I don't feel the least bit sorry for the STUPID IDIOTS that must see how fast they can get their trucks to move between two rows of trucks. If speed is that important to them, they belong on a race track, not in a truck stop. In a truck stop, it's called COURTESY AND SAFETY. If you can not see that aspect of it, GET OUT OF A TRUCK.

I had a friend.
He had the same thought like you Toothpick. Now he is in JAIL. He cant stop his 80000 lbs truck and passed over a pedestrian in a Truck Stop. THINK SAFE. DRIVE SAFE. And if it is possible, PRESERVE THE NATURE. Good is the wine, when the water is bad. But, if the water is good, the wine is better.

I think the reason why some drivers go excessively slow in truckstops, ramps and approaching weighstations- including going below the posted 'maintain 30mph' sign is because a lot of drivers spends so much time on the interstate without stopping or slowing down that it is a welcome change to the turbowhistle...some are just incapable and some are just putting on their shoes while rolling through the lot

I was one of the drivers that was a 3 mph in the t/s parking lot for the simple reason every night I go to bed knowing what it feels like to have had a FATAL accident. Do not bitch and moan at those of us who take it slow and easy in the truckstops because we are taking it slow looking out for A&LES like you.

I don,t go into truckstops anymore; They,re always full of drivers arguing about their respective speeds passing through.
