Simply put, there are many things 'out there' that we do not know or understand. Perhaps we never will. But even if we don't, it doesn't mean they don't exist.

 

I try to view the world from a standpoint that remembers that at one time ... the Highest minds in existance ...actually taught that "the world was flat " and that " the Earth was the center of the Universe " and that "Mountain Gorrillas were a native myth." like Bigfoot ... Of course we now know this is not so ... Mostly what I will argue is not the ACTUAL EXISTANCE of "Ghosts" or "little Green Men " or " tickle down economics " :lol: ...I simply argue the possibilities ...

TrukrswyfeOn 1 fact your correct ~ movies do distort some things in life. And sure there's always noises in homes and places because of gravity ~ things do eventually fall and shift. But thats as far as it goes. Life is about difference, and beliefs and that's what makes the world go around.

I KNOW WHAT I'VE SEEN and I KNOW WHAT I've lived all my life ... And I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE of demons and Angels, ghost, Spirit Guide, and etc ... I can FEEL a demon and I only feel the sweet peace when it's an Angel. ... I went as far as to speak to my Pentcostal preacher about what happens in my life and he wouldn't nor could he prove to me where what I experience quite often is a 'demon'. .... I respect your beliefs and in turn I ask you respect mine! This thread isn't about preaching the Bible ..... it's about happenings and feelings in life. That why I said in my first post that I don't want to be burned at the stake, nor will I point my finger at someone for being judgemental . :wink: Are you throwing the first stone? I know for a fact that my good friends Slimland and Hobo have threads started on opinions about what the Bible said ... hummm.

I know which story I'll share now ... but it will take quite some time to write and I have things to do around the house first, so I shall return later today to share.

The Tree that was forbidden was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Why? To have "knowledge" of something means that you have to have experienced it. God did not want them to experience "evil", He wanted them to retain their innocence. Once they ate from the forbidden tree, they knew shame and guilt, which they had no prior "knowledge" of. It was a test of obedience, which they failed.

You're quite right Roses. As in all things, there is "balance". There are demons and there are angels. There is good and evil in this, and in the Spirit world, and not everyone is able to discern the difference.

When I was a young child I would often tell my Mother about things that my "Angel" told me. Some of the things were Biblical, some were songs, and some were warnings. I was 3 or 4 and there was really no way for me to "know" the things I told her about. So my Mother took me to talk with our Minister about this because it frightened her. Pastor Wilson asked me all kinds of questions, to "test" this "spirit". He eventually believed it was an Angel too, and told my Mother to stop telling me I was making things up. This "Angel" of mine has saved my life more that a few times.

We are, according to the Bible, body, soul, and spirit and I believe we are capable of communication on all those levels.

Very True Reb ...

In many beliefs it is interprited as Mind , Body , and soul but this leads to my next observation which is of course when you boil things down in most religions there is more to agree on than to NOT agree on ...it seems our material lives here on this earth ...for the limited time we are here would be much more plesant if we tended out own souls and left things like judgement to the God or Gods of your choosing ... which of course I do ...

And Yes ...that is a Pretty standard interpretation of the trees of Eden and what I was looking for indeed ...we now possess within us an innante ability to discern good and evil ...I unfortunately cannot agree that anything diffrent or out of the ordinary is "evil" ...unless of course one believes that "thinking , reason . and intelect , is more of the devil than God ...

and we are all off track here ... can we get any really good spooky trucker stories here ???? :lol:
