Chicago Crime Stats for this Year 500 DEAD from Guns all of them Illegally Owned by Criminals. Also well over 1000 where Wounded this is MORE than all the KIA and WIA in Afghanistan from all sources yet not one peep of this crap hits the MSM even in Chicago for more than 20 Secs.

With all the damage you gun folks do to the country I'm thinking I'm not going to thank you today, maybe some other time, but not today.
Americans Are The Most Spied On People In World History | The Big Picture I don't know what damage you are talking about with "gun folks." There have been a handful of incidents where a number of people have been killed by someone with a gun. There have been serial murderers for centuries. More often that not, they will use other means than guns, such as knives or strangulation to kill their victims. And lets not forget about all the cars that kill thousands of people every year.

As for the Tech shooting, I could've easily done without the media coverage there. I was still living in Blacksburg when that happened, and I can say that not one of us wanted to see the media there for a week afterwards, let alone hear about it on the national news for a week afterwards. We just wanted to mourn the losses of life and try to move on as well as we could. In the years after that, the mindset in town and at the college still hasn't really changed. Folks still act the same as they did beforehand... and morality still doesn't get mentioned.

At least one of those shot at VT, doesn't want to see any further bans on guns. He seems to understand that the problem has nothing to do with guns. The media is responsible for pushing any sort of anti gun legislation. That is about all you saw on national TV for days. I doubt there would have been the hysteria without the media frenzy.
