Crazy California

As of right now, I'm butting heads with other students at the local JC who snicker at my intention of transferring out-of-state. Please, I've got much better chances of transferring to and succeeding at, say, UNM at Albuquerque or something as opposed to fighting with millions of others for a spot at a school in the UC or CSU system. Since I'm having to refocus, education within this state seems to have been dragged down the crapper as well. I want to learn what I have to, then get out. Not deal with the consistent, high-school drama that most California-bred kids seem to retain after too many years.

They can take Chicago too, actually all of Illinois, especially the politicians.

Citizens can change our government. It is a matter of getting involved. Write letters, make phone calls and contact media to express your views. If enough people become involved and let these crooked politicians know how we feel then they will make changes. If they fear a rebellion then they will change the way that they do things. The thing they fear most is losing power.

The important thing is to get started and take action. A leader will often evolve during the process.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Blacksheep. I bet we could get a lot of dead people to vote in Chicago.
