I wonder if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will scream "racism" when they find out about this.

BTW, you might find this article that just came out very interesting:

In Africa, drought continues for the sixth consecutive year, adding terribly to the toll of famine victims. Record rains in parts of the U.S., Pakistan and Japan caused some of the worst flooding in centuries. In Canada's wheat belt, a particularly chilly and rainy spring has delayed planting and may well bring a disappointingly small harvest. Rainy Britain, on the other hand, has suffered from uncharacteristic dry spells the past few springs. A series of unusually cold winters has gripped the American Far West, while New England and northern Europe have recently experienced the mildest winters within anyone's recollection.

As they review the bizarre and unpredictable weather pattern of the past several years, a growing number of scientists are beginning to suspect that many seemingly contradictory meteorological fluctuations are actually part of a global climatic upheaval. However widely the weather varies from place to place and time to time, when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing. Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age.

The date? June 24, 1974.

Global warming is a product of politicians, not scientists. There are a lot of scientists however in the back pockets of the politicians that are willing to invent their own conclusions.

There are 2 main real scientific factors for abrupt climate change, all of them scientifically documented, proven, and not that hard to understrand.

1) The earth's orbit is currently in a cycle where it comes closer to the sun then usual, this happens every x years (I can't remember the exact amount of years, but if I remember correctly its like every 1000 years or so), it will be close for 10 years before the orbit goes back to normal.

2) The magnetic poles of the earth of reversing, scientists don't fully understand this, but they do know it is happening. They as of yet can't even calculate how long it will take, but it is slowly happening. They don't know the result either of what will happen once the reverse completes. Ultimately this will mainly just effect electronic devices that rely on magnetic fields, it would also effect magnets themselves, and climate! The protective shield around the earth that blocks most of the damaging solar dust, UV, radiation, etc, is blocked by the magnetic fields of the earth. The shield isn't going anywhere, but the transition of the reverse itself creates odd riffs and ripples in the field, allowing stray entries and odd magnetic anomalies from time to time.

I'm sorry but man cannot effect the world on such a scale that 'global warming' says it can. The simple proven fact, is that a single volcanic eruption releases more 'harmful' substances of the same type as a car or any other polluting device, then man has made since man existed.

Let's look at this way, there have been volcanic eruptions that effected the world climate for a while, but it eventually wears off, case in point the nasty winters around the world during the time of the civil war, where caused by Pompai I believe, which caused a 2 year winter around the world! That volcanic eruption if I remember correctly had the same amount of power as 100,000 of modern nuclear bombs.

I think we as mankind are too fascinated with 'End of the world' fiction, sorry but it isn't going to happen! We will kill each other off before we destroy this world.

Abrupt Climate Change, which is now the term being tossed about, seems to be a lot more accurate since the climate of any given region is changing at a rate many times faster than ever before discovered. What, in past ages, has taken thousands of years is happening in decades.

Very few doubt what is happening, the argument comes from why it is happening, and what can and should be done about it, if anything can be done about it except trying to survive.

Is the problem due to all the pollutants man is pumping into the atmosphere, is it due to a yet undiscovered shift in the orbit of the planet, or is it a "burp" in the data like the little ice age, but much more wide spread? I honestly don't know. Too many conflicting studies out there, all from what could be called credible sources. What I do know is that without more accurate information it is possible that we could make matters worse with half cocked solutions.

This planet rotates and orbits around the sun. Each orbit or rotation is likely to have subtle changes since the earth is rotating in free orbit. Those changes in the rotation and orbit are likely to affect our climate. We were also told that the reason R12 or freon was outlawed is due to ozone damage. The truth of the matter is that the patent held by Dupont ran out. If it actually damaged the ozone then it would be thin over the U.S. That isn't the case. You can buy R12 almost anywhere in the world but the U.S. In fact, you can buy it just across the border in Mexico. Bring it across the border and it is worse than smuggling drugs.

This whole matter or global warming is about money. Parts of our country has seen record snow and cold. If you notice we haven't heard much from these global warming nuts lately. It is difficult to tout global warming when there are record cold and snows. Al Gore has made a fortune off of this scam. California is also making a fortune off of global warming. It is big business.

Within your lifetime, expect CA to talk about limiting the exhaling of breath, and the foods you are allowed to eat. They'll find a way to add that to the global warming.

Now in the news, California to ban people! The state will be dissolved and turned into a wildlife preserve!

California does make a fortune. Problem is they spend 3 fortunes.
