Crazy California

We were also told that the reason R12 or freon was outlawed is due to ozone damage. The truth of the matter is that the patent held by Dupont ran out. If it actually damaged the ozone then it would be thin over the U.S. That isn't the case. You can buy R12 almost anywhere in the world but the U.S. In fact, you can buy it just across the border in Mexico. Bring it across the border and it is worse than smuggling drugs.
This whole matter or global warming is about money. Parts of our country has seen record snow and cold. If you notice we haven't heard much from these global warming nuts lately. It is difficult to tout global warming when there are record cold and snows. Al Gore has made a fortune off of this scam. California is also making a fortune off of global warming. It is big business.

Some people will never be convinced that what we are seeing is nothing but a naturally recurring cycle and not something that man can do anything about nor has had any influence. Many of the laws we have seen come into existence in recent years are put into place for revenue generation. It is amazing that so many people buy into this global warming myth.

After the severe winter we've just experienced here (actually 2 record cold & snowy winters in a row now), I'd welcome some Global Warming.:smokin:

I honestly don't believe they know what's causing all the global warming, if the actual warming is real. How do they explain the past Ice-Ages? We didn't have all the chemicals in the air that we are putting there now. What caused them?
And, for that matter... The recent "experiment" by the auto industry... Where the fuel tank would leak off a full tank of hydrogen in about 14 days... What happens to hydrogen in free air? Does it mix with the air or does it filter it's way up through the atmosphere? When it gets to the ozone layer, does it combine with the ozone and come back down as rain or does it pass right through and go to the very outer layer of our atmosphere? And if it goes up there? what next? They've taken pictures out in space of hydrogen clouds drifting away from other planets. Does ours drift off in space too? That would suggest that we're depleting our water supply, the life-blood of our planet and required for all life to live, every time we see a truck with "HYDROGEN - REFRIGERATED LIQUID" stencilled on the side. What happens when CA gets a hold of this?????

If anything, I still say California was doomed when they abandoned the concept of light-rail in the '50s, only to bring it back in the early 90's after seeing how much of a colossal fail that "adding more freeway lanes" became. If anything, it's comparable to sand-bagging a swollen creek around your house at the moment of a massive flood. Except everyone else told you it would be a bad idea from the get-go.
