Not trying to be top dog, but hauling produce, salinas to hunts pt. and chelsea I would be there in 3 days kick it off reload the same day and three days later deliver in ca. This was week in week out. But here it is, albuquerque to boston, around 2250 mi. in 34 to 36 hours, non stop, except for fuel, coffee, and a sandwhich, this was my norm.

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

As for the definition allowed for "non stop," I suppose it was somewhere around 950 miles or something.... don't remember.

But, with a few 1.5 hour naps..... I once left Salinas, CA as a TEAM hauling produce, and stopped in Coachella for a second stop. My co-driver got SICK, so I got out another logbook and left there, hoping he would get better soon. He didn't. I kept driving with a few naps between shifts, and he finally got better somewhere around Tallulah, MS. He drove about 600 miles out of the 2700 or so, (during which I got a full 10 in the sleeper,) and we STILL got back to the yard in the normal 48 to 50 hours or so.

[That's Salinas to Coachella, then I-10 thru AZ, El Paso, up I-20 to Atlanta, and back to somewhere close to Greensboro, NC.... minus Tallulah to Atlanta]

I don't EVER want to do that again! :hellno:

This crazy young punk that hauls electronics and has a small dog did San Jose, CA to Houston, TX in 31 hrs, 10 minutes (1892mi) a few weeks ago. Floored called B.S. on his 20, an Steve Booth chatted with him on the phone the last 100 miles.

I forgot that driver's name, but his dog did crap on Steve Booth's steps in Nebraska a while back

Without stopping, I've done around 500 miles without opening the left door. Empty gatorade bottles get converted to full ones though.

Chesapeak, VA to Denver, CO ... with a couple of stops for fuel and coffee of course, I had a wedding to attend.

If I had known what I know now, I would have just skipped the wedding and given her everything then instead of 5 years later.

Have done over 1000 miles non stop (other than fuel) many times. Longest non stop was probably OK City to San Diego. I figure electronic logging is coming soon anyway, and I'll have to retire It will be too depressing for me.
