poor, unfortunate swift driver

Well, it looks like he didn't have much trouble keeping it from running away too far.

Or opted for the scenic route . . he's barely a truck length into it?

Read the story and explain to me how he hit this guy . .
MailTribune.com: I-5 crash delays traffic Northbound is coming down the hill . . you can see everything . . unless he was drafting on a truck in front of him.

Can't. But Mr. Cochran, formerly of Swift Transportation, said he "didn't see the grader until it was too late." We just have to take his word for it, I guess.
This looks like it's near the POE (mm 18), about four miles north of the grade.

After gaining some massive momentum going down a steep grade, I hit one of those runaway truck ramps. Had so much speed that I shot up to the top of the ramp and kept going over the top of the mouantin and the trees and landed on the other side back on the freeway in the hammer lane. Didn't even wake Leroy up! Sorry, I was just trying to prepare my stories for the next time I eat at the Flyin' hook driver's counter.
