I may as well enjoy our VP in a tight sweater shooting a Caribou from a helicopter. Have you noticed...firing a gun makes her nipples hard. :block:
"C'mon baby!"
I'll remember that when I run for vice president. For the record, there are many things that make nipples hard....(besides firing a gun)...

the sound of a Harley (plap plap plap - coz you FEEL it in your tummy)...and when you get on the back of it and wrap your...sigh....

new chrome and new leathers (especially when the two are together)

fresh dirt (can't help it...that's why I'm a geologist)

new steel toes

making record hole in a day (makes me want to celebrate with the boys!!)

and...chocolate

Is that another prediction from the same crystal ball that had you convinced not too long ago that Palin was going to be the savior of the GOP ticket? That she would be the total downfall of the Obama campaign? I believe the polls are now bearing out MY prediction that she would be a drag on McCain. She may have energized the conservative base of the party, but the more moderates, who were happy with McCain, are now jumping ship along with most Independents.

I doubt seriously if anything good OR bad will happen in the first few months. What I want to hear is the tune you sing the following spring when YOU get to pay less taxes because, like the rest of us, you are part of the middle class he is fighting for.

IMHO, your fear of some Third World Order or Socialistic takeover of America is just not realistic. Pure hype and hysteria. You SAY you "read between the lines" (is that like discerning the "spirit" of his plans?) but you talk as though you buy everything being said on the Right Wing talk radio.

This is one of the problems, fighting for the middle class. He doesnt need to be fighting for any class and using class warfare to get into office. He needs to be fighting for the good of the whole country and not the middle class or the lower class or fighting against the upper class. He needs to be fighting a fight that benfits everyone. This whole "Im fighting for the middle class" thing is just a joke and ridiculous beyond belief. Dont fight for me, fight for the good of everyone and the whole country so everyones situation can improve. Taking away from one group to give to another just isnt the answer. Try and fix the big picture so you dont have to fight for any certain class or group.

Well you make a good point Jagerbomber (and good to see you back) but it just hasn't worked out trying it that way. I wish that, out of the goodness of their hearts and dedication to Americans:

Corporations would provide jobs here instead of overseas,

Oil companies would invest in equipment to reduce the cost of gas,

Insurance companies would cover you when you need it after collecting your premiums for years,

Universities would reduce the skyrocketing costs of tuition,

In general, that the "haves" would settle for a little less profits and wealth so that the rest of us could pay our bills!

But, it just isn't happening! You say it shouldn't BE a class war... but, I say that's exactly what we've had for far too long. And I'm tired of being on the losing team.

So you're saying that everyone has a birthright to absolute economic equality in this country? Bullcrap. Don't come back and say that is not what you meant or what you said because that is exactly what you said.

You are a truck driver. You chose that field of work well knowing that you will not earn a CEO income. Many people have a burning desire to become wealthy and through hard work and dedication many achieve their goals. But does everyone necessarily have that same desire or drive for wealth? No. Many are happy with their normal daily routine, providing for their family, having a house, apt., playing video games all day. The great thing about this country is that we have a choice in what we become in life and WE as INDIVIDUALS determine what happens.

Businesses are not in business to provide jobs. They are in business to turn a profit. The workforce is an instrument to turn said profit.

Without a wealthy class there is no middle class. It is proven that you do not increase economic growth by taking away from the rich and giving it to the poor. We have see evidence of this since the New Deal and Great Society.

Universities have increasing operating costs each year. If you want to go to college, get good grades in high school and get a scholarship. The government already offers all kinds of grants to those who qualify. If all else fails get a student loan. And before you bitch about paying back a student loan, make sure you specialize in something profitable in your college studies to make it easier on you when you're done.

Jagerbomber is exactly right. This class warfare nonsense is rediculous. I'm tired of all you liberals whing about how bad everything is and how you deserve better.:cry::cry:

You make your bed. Now sleep in it!!! :bigcry:

Whether you like it or not, that is exactly what I'm going to do! I never said "economic equality" and I challenge you to quote me as saying so.

I don't have a problem with there being an upper or richer class. I have a problem with them exploiting the workforce for everincreasing weallth.... more than they can ever even SPEND.

IF it weren't for unions (back in the day,) and some government regulations, they wouldn't pay a living wage, offer NO bennies, and fire you without notice if you got sick! Just as in trucking, they're not worried about the turnover rate. There are always others in the unemployed masses that they can exploit.

I have no problem with an industrious man building a business and amassing wealth. I just don't see why he has to do it on the backs of the middle or lower class. I realize he needs and wants to make a profit. But, he should provide decently for his workforce. And in many cases, they DO! An insurance company might pay their employess well, but then they exploit their customer base so they can bank billions! There's just no need for that.

I am not for Socialism. But I am against exploitation. If you look again at my list, it had more to do with raping customers than it did with workers. Actually, American wages are not all that bad in most cases. But, the cost of goods and services is far outpacing our earning power. And it doesn't help matters when they outsource our jobs and we HAVE no earning power.

And this is my point. This IS the "pursuit of happiness." All I'm saying is that the greedy corporations have all but conspired to price that normal life out of our reach.

Businesses are not in business to provide jobs. They are in business to turn a profit. The workforce is an instrument to turn said profit.
And this is exactly the attitude of the "haves" that constitutes class warfare.

Without a wealthy class there is no middle class.
And without a workforce, the wealthy class would have to build that fortune one automobile or widget at a time! Good luck with that.

It is proven that you do not increase economic growth by taking away from the rich and giving it to the poor. We have see evidence of this since the New Deal and Great Society.
And what we have is obviously working so well!

Jagerbomber is exactly right. This class warfare nonsense is rediculous. I'm tired of all you liberals whing about how bad everything is and how you deserve better.:cry::cry:
And I'm tired of hearing the greedy capitalists whining because they have to live with 60 million in their trusts instead of a few million more while the rest of the country slips closer and closer to 3rd World poverty. I'm not advocating taking it from them and redistributing it. I'm saying that unless forced to do otherwise in some way, they will continue "taking" all they can get from the middle class in pursuit of their aristocracy. Remember what happened to Louis Catorze and Marie Antoinette.

You make your bed. Now sleep in it!!! :bigcry:
You think a Paris Hilton has ever even MADE her own bed? My point is that we cannot choose to which class we are born. I don't care that she will never have to work a day in her life if she doesn't want to. I'd just like to be able to afford the necessities of life, and maybe a steak now and then. Sure, we all have a chance to better ourselves. But if everyone did that.... who would work in the mines to get your raw materials? Who would drive the trucks? Someone has to BE the middle class, and all I'm saying is that they shouldn't have to live a life of living hell trying to pay the bills, while the upper crust sit back and laugh and say "let them eat cake."

Yet you continue to come back and check the thread. Either you find it irresistable, or you are a glutton for punishment.

The latter is quite obvious.
