Here is Biden doing the First of MANY PUTTING his Head up his Butt moments in this campaign I think moments. Here he is saying Hillary would have been a better choice for Vp and President than either him or Barack Obama. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBgB0SrFliQ

Found this to be very interesting.....This has been all over the news and talk radio all day.

Found out about this little tidbit to day listening to a talk channel, yeah one of the right wing channels, but this goes beyond coincidence. Compare the Washington Post political cartoon to the youtube clip of Obamas speech in Virginia yesterday.
The cartoon was in the Sept 5th Post.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...9052008&type=c

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPd4yk0x-eg

Obamas speech appears to be "off the cuff" and unrehearsed. Yet he quotes the cartoon virtually word for word. It is believed that this was set up ahead of time.
But it amazes me that Obamas judgment is lacking to the extent to add the Lipstick quote. Since Palins acceptance speech at the RNC, you would think that any lipstick quote by the opponents should be avoided like the plaque. Obama knew what he was doing, whether it was an intentional dig at Palin or not, he should have had the judgement and common sense to avoid that quote.
Obama also has to start using some common sense and judgement to realize that by "running" against the Republican VP nominee rather that his opponent the Republican Presidential nominee that all Obama is doing is giving Palin more and more press, that generally is turning out in her favor. Go Bama.....Hes going to get the Republicans the win this election without even realizing it. DNC is in a tailspin and they do not know how to recover from it.
McCain is a good man...and I believe he will make a good President, and it is no doubt that it is Palin that has lite the fire for the Republican campaign. McCain is not that "interesting" of a speaker. But he is better "off the cuff" than the stammering Bama....which should make an interesting debate.

This conversation is playing right into the professional politicians hands. Here we are arguing over wether Obama called Palin and pig and then countering with McCain called Hillary a pig first.

Where are the issues? It has turned into a kindergarten mud slinging match. All run by professional politicians and spin-meisters, to keep them off the issues that matter to most Americans.

How do I know what Palin will say? Because she has no experience in foreign affairs, none, zero, zip. Her first time solo in the big leagues, they are I would assume, are tutoring her daily, a crash course in one liners and snide remarks, hoping to get Biden off track and attack her, when he does that, it is over, McCain wins the Hillary votes, which is why he picked Palin in the first place. It was a very smart choice on his handlers part.

No doubt that is a portion of the reason and a possible benefit. However you cannot argue with the fact that she has reinvigorated the Republican campaign. She also compliments McCain quite well, IMO.

No doubt, as well as the Political information that she may be weak in that she will need to go into the debate with Biden, as well as any press interviews that she will be doing in the coming weeks.

And....if Obama doesnt change HIS tactics, the debate may be between Palin and Obama.
