"I got two kids and they tire me and Michelle out" Whatever dude you should try raising 5 kids and one with special needs and see how hard that really is over verses 2 kids! What a wuss! You know McCain and Palin won't call him a name back any name for that matter cause the Obama gang is gonna accuse McCain and Palin of being racist!

How did I take it out of context? I was just stating that he has it easier than Palin.

So was he.

"she’s got five kids and my hat goes off to anybody who’s looking after five. I’ve got two and they tire Michelle and me out!"

Oops I totally forgot he said that! I apologize but still he doesn't have any right to call her names. Like I said if McCain/Palin called him names he would accuse them of being racist!

I don't think he called her a pig, but... to say that and not know how it would be received, he has to be monumentally stupid. I'm sure the crowd was just standing up and howling because they really love a tired old cliche, right? However he meant the comment, they took it as a slam at Palin and everybody knows it. In a year when the wounds from the implicit sexism toward Senator Clinton are still healing, this is just sloppy.

Also today, when introducing Senator Biden to a group of supporters, Russ Carnahan said, "There’s no way you can dress up that record even with a lot of lipstick." Again, draw your own conclusions about whether or not he meant anything by the phrase. Two comments in one day, using a phrase that has not been heard in this election prior to Governor Palin's speech, provide just enough fuel for the right wingers to light another fire.

The bottom line is that this campaign is going off the rails right now. They are supposed to be saying Bush, Cheney, Rove, Halliburton, tax cuts for the wealthy, and change. As soon as they get off the script, they are exposed as a bunch of amateurs. Why in the hell would you spend a week comparing the guy at the top of your ticket to this "rube" at the bottom of the Republican ticket?

The entire election is off the rails, and is in a giant heap at the bottom of the ravine. I am really ashamed that these are the best candidates we could actually get elected.
