Those middle class tax cuts in '93 cost me a few thousand bucks. I expect each Perot voter to chip in and cover my losses. Thanks in advance.

He called her a pig. He knows it, the crowd knew it and he also knew that the crowd would take it that way. You can try to make excuses for him but it doesn't change the truth.

Did Miss Cleo tell you all of this?

BTW, he was using a common phrase. If he called anything a pig, it was the McCain campaign. Palin, of course, would be the lipstick.

So I suggest you change the title of the thread to "Obama calls Palin lipstick!".

"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."

Man that was the funniest thing I have read in a while.

But you're mistaken, Obama was really just telling you about a recent debate he and I had online. I quoted some regs and he quoted some regs.
We finally just decided to each get our own lot lizard and call it a night.

Ight.

He shouldn't have publicized that conversation but if was to the benenfit of all that he decided to do so.

FYI

McCain used the same phrase so relaxe. 8)

I heard the speech also, and in no way did I take it some sort of slam against her. BUT>>> Obama needs to be careful what he says, and doesn't dare say anything that remotely could be construed as sexist. The Republican attack machine is running on all cylinders, and taking anything out of context and running their negative advertising. The mud slinging ads of McCain campaign are far ahead of Obama for sure. Already the Hillary femi-nazis' are railing against the press for asking questions about Palin. And basically told them (the press) to "lay off Palin." Even the McCain campaign is keeping her under wraps, not letting her speak to the press, or even answering questions from people in the crowd. Although, smartly, they have scheduled a interview with Charles Gibson of ABC news on Sept.11th. The same day as her son ships out to Iraq. SO Gibson, being a lightweight anyway, surely won't be pressing her on any issues, it will end up being just a hour long self promotion and campaign speech from Palin. Smart scheduling by the McCain campaign. She continues using the same speech out with McCain as she used in her acceptance speech. But when will they quit holding her hand and let her out on her own?
We she does go out on her own, I assume she will use the standard Republican tactic of attacking the messenger and avoiding the question. Just attack the messenger. This will play very well to the right wing of the Republican party.
