Tonight until Monday morning I'll be in Yuma,AZ waiting to deliver. I picked up yesterday mid morning and ran hard to get here this afternoon so I can sit around and do nothing besides a 34 hour restart. This was a good week considering I just left NY Monday morning. A nice 3371 paid miles week. 8) 8)

been there done that H-E-B IN Houston ,Tx was 15 minutes late for a delivery ounce on a Saturday & they forced me to wait till Monday to receive there crap !". She ought to be a little on the warm side in Yuma, Right 8) :?:

 

It was 98 when I rolled into town. They're calling for 100 tomorrow. Nothing my APU can't handle, hopefully. I haven't used the AC on it that much yet. 8) 8)

 

there's no burger king at this one. it's a taco smell and subway. i prefer taco smell because their "food" actually fills me up. shower #6 seems to be the best one because the water stays hot. #1 was crappy. it would go lukewarm or cold whenever somebody flushed a toilet, which was every few seconds. :evil: #5 wasn't too shabby. #4 was almost as bad as #1. last time i was here, somebody backed into my passenger side fender mirror. i woke up to it all bent at a funked out angle. the truck and the driver were nowhere to be found. it's amazing that whenever a swift driver hits something, EVERYBODY sees it. when it's a swift truck that gets hit by somebody else, nobody says a word about it. :?

 

SO, you at the Pilot? don't forget to check out the flea market across the street-- they have some neat stuff-- try the Mexican Rest out next door-- I thing the little sea food restraunt/ bar is a little pricey.

Ive had a few hectic days...Max driving days, tight appointment times. Driving periods all over the clock. (almost feel like a real truck driver :lol: ).
Im up in TK the Truckers neck of the woods. Victor NY...behind one of my stores (Office Max) to deliver in am. (Along Rt 96..very close to the thruway). TK...Ill bet you know exactly where I am.
Deliver here in AM then Erie, Pa. Then over to Michigan :cry: (dont like Michigan much) to deliver 2 stores around Detriot first thing Monday.

 

Sure do, it's about 10-15 minutes from my house. Eastview mall across the street was my hang out back in the day. There's a small plaza in front of the Office Max plaza and on the side facing RT 96 there's a pretty good china buffet. 8) 8)

Delivered there this morning, ran straight to Erie for 2nd stop, then straight to Stoneyridge, OH for fuel and shower, before heading up to Michigan. Im behind stop 3 in Clinton Twp for 1st thing in morning delivery, then final stop in Utica Mi. My 70 will be toast after tomorrow will need reset, not sure where to do it yet, gotta see whats up my dispatchers sleeve before I make that decision.

 

Sitting in downtown Kansas City, MO in an old empty warehouse district all alone. Over the last couple years I've spent the night in some creepy area's but this beats all of them hands down. I really don't like this :lol: I say this place makes HEB feel like Iowa 80... I can't wait till morning !
