Default Weigh Station en espanol

How do you say weigh station in Spanish? I think there is a sign before the San Onofre scales but I can't remember for sure. It's bugging me.

Is it Bascula de Camiones?

I keep wanting to say Basura de Camiones- which might be a little more appropriate! LOL!

I looked up "bascula de camiones" in google and it brought up ssome Spanish language sites for what looked like truck weighing systems- like what a warehouse might buy to weigh trucks for loading purposes.

I believe the sign out in front of the Anthony, NM port of entry says "bascula de camiones".

Yeah- that's an EXACT translation weigh station. But, that's not what they call it. I took enough Spanish to know that you can't just translate exact word-for-word and get it right. Especially considering the slang we truckers use- chicken coops, Schneider eggs, go-go juice and the like...

I think it's Bascula de Camiones, too.

"pese la estacion" = weigh the station. You can't translate word for word.
