I have SPY WARE?

I'm a hunter, and it is getting close to fall hunting season. My insticts are getting sharper day by day. Birds are easy...if you would have chosen to be a Whitetail Buck...I probably would have only saw signs of you...maybe HEARD you at best, but not see you. :P
Too intense!!!!

LOL

the other day I was sitting in my garden in a rose colored tee shirt, and this hummingbird came down and zipped back and forth in front of me for a good part of a minute, about a foot from my face... It was making the imperative sound that hummingbirds make... and my guess is that it was expressing extreme disappointment with me for luring like a flower, when I wasn't at all.

Oh wait, I didn't read that right. I thought you said you had spy where, sort of pun kind of thing. That's why I was laughing.

Yes, that was what I thought you meant. I thought you were speaking generally. I think that's why it struck me as so powerful. You weren't on an agenda, you were ... I'm reminded of when my son was little, maybe three, or not quite, and I would read him The Three Little Kittens: Lost their mittens and they began to cry.

We had a picture book, and my son would always say, "Where's mummy's mittens?" He wanted it to be totally fair.

Okay, so I wasn't able to post, but then you wrote the thoughtful thing that you did, and I was able to post again.

I didn't mean to be disrespectful. I don't know what I wrote that was disrespectful.

I just was saying what I think.

When I posted the video I did it because when I saw it at the pbs forum I wanted to share it. I think I posted it at eBay too, but I can't remember.

I liked it and I wanted to share it. I didn't like it the way I like beautiful or fun songs. I liked it because it made me think, quickly, about many things.

I've got to tell you -- I am WAY amazed that someone else besides me (Consider and Hummingbird) voted that they were thinking about it.

Thank you again. (Oh, I don't mean for the vote, I have no idea how you voted... I mean for writing the question that you did, in your "chill" fashion.)

Oh, you may find this interesting or amusing... but if you have a chance, when you are with someone who is very diplomatic, take a look at their thumbs... most likely they will have "waists" on their thumbs, that's a sort of hour glass shape between the knuckles.

On the other hand, people who are very blunt tend to have sort of uniformly fat thumbs.

Guess which type of thumbs I have...

lol re spelling, indeed. You had me going with weather Republican. I was thinking... stormy? cloudy? all wet? cold? hot? dry?

Yes, I agree with you. Though I'm really not the gun type.

I was a silversmith in London, it was against the law to work at a job type job, so I could only do "art" where everyone is free to do it and whatever with it. Okay, so one night I was coming home sort of late with all the silver that I'd just polished, bangles mostly, in my shoulder bad. And my little boy was with me. The shortest way to our flat included one rather dark block. Well, this kid in a hoodie, pulled up over his head, began following us, so I was gripping my shoulder bag really tight. I had to sell the silver to feed my son. The kid all of a sudden runs forward and grabs my bag. I shouted, "I know your mother!" and he let go and ran off. Whew!

The Constitution ... boy, having been to court a few times, I have experienced it not meaning a thing. Seriously. I'm hoping the appeal that I filed on Monday works. It should. I hope it does.

The only thing with English law, is that ours derives from it, from the Magna Carta, I guess.

The Magna Carta was signed by the sort of weak son of the Henry in The Lion in Winter. That's a good film, especially if you like history stuff. It was very well acted, and beautiful.

And I have the bad habit of typing while I am thinking, so things get muddle sometimes.

I failed reading. I forget what grade that was. Maybe second. I was sick a lot and missed half a year of school. But basically I could not "get" reading. We were taught to look for tall letters and letters that go below the line... it was a weird approach, but now, now I can read signs from pretty far away.

When my mother caught me reading she would get furious at me.

I didn't really get the whole noun, adverb, etc. thing until we had... I forget what it's called, but you sort of draw the sentence. Then it all came clear to me.

Oh, religion threads. Good.

I stay away from them... I'm a bit not in the fold. Though, I went to Catholic grade school and all girl's Catholic high school with a convent across the street...

Typing and thinking... know the muddle well.

Now that I think about it, why do we even have to know that?

Except, I suppose sometimes if something is confusing, once you know if a word is a noun or a verb, you know whether it's a thing, or an action.
That can be useful.

Lol about Catholic girls.

As for me, I'd still be a virgin if one of the Green Bay Packers hadn't been stronger than me.

And a good thing, too.

I heard that english was the hardest language to learn, because one word can mean so many diffrent things!

bear=bare=bayer.

The only things that make sense to me is the past present tense words.
Am, is, are, was, where, Be, Being, been, Have, has, had, do, does, did, shall, will, should, would, may, might, must, can, could.
These I use often!

You cracked me up, with "bayer" --
I hadn't ever heard that one added before.

I can never figure out which bare/bear I should be spelling. Drives me crazy!

You're really good if you understand "past present tense."

All I know is present tense, and past tense.

When my son was little, he had a concept of things being past, but he didn't know the short words, so he would find a dead lady bug, for instance, and say, "lady bug, last week."

They were removed and gassed and or just machine gunned and pushed into pits by bulldozers. I wonder why there are so many people who rationalize the latest versions of the warsaw ghettos as none of the worlds business. How brave of you. I guess we were in the wrong when we attacked France, Belgium, Holland and then finally Germany in 1944-45. Was it worth the thousands of civilian casualties that these countries suffered to rid the world of a force that had killed millions.
Hi Fozzy,
It seems as if Roadhog may be saying I didn't sufficiently read your post.

I wasn't sure whether he actually meant the post, or your signature.

I did read them, and your link. In the link I noticed this line, "The women -- four or five of whom were pregnant -- and children appear to have been killed with a single small-caliber gunshot to the head."

I can't help but wonder, why do you think that is bad, if you think that it is all right for the American Army to bomb homes where pregnant women and children are, who have done nothing wrong.

How is it bad for Saddam to kill women and children, and good for the United States to kill women and children?

I don't see how the same thing can be both good and bad.

Also, your signature caused me to stop and think, to wonder if your son felt loved, or if he put his life on the line to win your approval.

Do you really think the army is a home for wayward boys? Do you think your son is wayward? and if he is wayward, do you think his life should be put at risk, possibly cut short? How will you feel if he is killed in Iraq or Afghanistan? Would it bother you if he died and Cheney was spending his millions completely oblivious of your son's sacrifice.

I don't know.

I think you are confusing the wars. I think you are confusing Saddam with Hitler. To me, what the two men did is pretty different.
Fozzy,

NBC News had a segment on Fort Benning the other night, and I thought about you as I watched it.

I realized that I have no idea what your relationship with your son is, and that given how serious the war is, it wasn't nice of me to make the kind of personal comment that I did.

Rev. V. made me think about this in another thread.

I wish you and your son health and long life.
