Interesting thread.
Look war is hell. The stuff about trying not to hit innocent civilians is either crap, or an indication that the military command officers are feeling guilty and are trying to rationalize not resigning. They are feeling gulty because they know that the only way to win is to kill nearly everyone, which means the war has failed, but if that isn't done, the war has failed. Today on "on point", several war prisoners, part of the opening of a new memorial of war prisoners, noted that air force crews we told to surrender to only soldiers. As prisoners in Germany they were worked in the war, which took them aound the area, and they saw airmen hanging from street lamps. The destruction was massive, but if you think wars are necessary, that is what it takes, both massive destruction of cities and massive killings; and airmen hanging from lamp posts. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld aren't ready to have airmen hanging from lamp posts, so they can't win a war. Of course there is an alternative, but they aren't strong enough to live the rest of their lives with everyone pointing to them saying "they nuked ten million people." Did you let her keep posting? or no? At pbs she said she got banned....

She is a crafty one. I tried to point out in the beginning of her thread that she was playing us,
and looking only to stir up trouble. I read enough of her posts over at her PBS site, when she started her obvious agenda to see she was minipulating and disrespectful to us, and she did not exibit this behavior with her posts over there. She thinks she is much smarter than any Truck driver, and has no regard what so ever for our Military. Personally, I would have not cared if she wished to discuss opposing views of any politics, but she felt it was necessary to be evil and crafty in her methods, and deliberately push peoples buttons and create a no win senerio. Her gain was to entertain herself...not to express views. I AM GLAD SHE WAS BANNED..!! I WILL ALSO RECOGNIZE HER IF SHE EVER TRYS TO COME BACK. here is the thread she posted talking about yoopr over at her nesting grounds. "Consider"the minipulator here "for" those visiters from PBS coming to check her story out over here please know we welcome visiter's, and ask you to look at how she behaved with us, and you be the judge. If you don't see her as offensive and disrespectful, then I'll eat my computer whole. :?

Mack, there weren't Iraqis among the terrorists on 9/11. Did you see the movie Syriana? It raises the question of whether Americans had sold the bomb that was driven into the Cole to the terrorists.
"They" can be a very misleading word. No Roadhog, I don't think I'm brighter than anyone here. I spell better than some, but that has nothing to do with the quality of thoughts. You did not believe me when I wrote the truth. I don't know why. I posted this in reply to Mulp over at pbs a moment ago:
I don't know. I posted your post over at the truck driver forum. I used my old email address to register for a new name.
Here's the thing. The Romans apparently tried to wipe out Christianity. If they had had nukes, would there be no Christians today. (Sometimes I wonder if there are Christians today, given the thinking of many of those who profess to be Christians... like Bush.) I don't think beliefs are easy to erradicate. Unlike weeds. I had a garden covered in goats heads, and I got rid of them. I picked them all up until there were none left to reseed. I could go barefoot. But ideas are much more persistent. People can think ideas and the ideas aren't seen. There's nothing to pick up and burn. That could be why "the pen is mightier than the sword." Why did I post on the truck driver forum? To me truck drivers were always the knights of old, of the road. They were the champions. But now, they don't seem interested in protecting those in distress, and to me, that was what the good knights did.

But she didn't call anyone names, she posted her thoughts "As do we all", it just happend to be polotics and war. She was using a certain set of questions to entrap a person! This has happend befor, and that person and person's did not get banned! :? She placed a thread and wanted to talk, we all responded. and within a few post we all new what she was! And still we discussed with her! I kept up with this thread since day one, and did not post untill I felt like I needed to. She had a diffrent view, even if it was wierd, and probly just wanted to argue. Arn't we all to blame for this action, of just wanting to argue? YES. Some to make a point, and some to just argue! Some get out of hand, and it is usualy when the personal attacks happen. So they get locked down, I am even in this catagory. So my question is Why did she get banned? Was it because she had a diffrent view, and wanted to express it? If this is the case then Myself, Fozzy, Alagator, OTR, RoadHog, Yooper, LittleMan, Mr.Bighead, Scoe, Twilight Flyer, Rocky, ChappChapp, Mandoka, WindWalker, Mack, AFF, Skywalker, and ETC, would all need to be banned. We have all had out arguments whether with one or the other, and with differing opinions, Not to mention with plenty of name calling! So after this, I assume she wasn't banned for this action, so the question is WHY was she banned? Curious? Slimland

"They" can be a very misleading word. And there might not have been Iraqis among the terrorist but they did find terrorist training camps over in Iraq. And by the way I have been to not this war though but the first I was there oh and I killed a couple of Iraqis while I was over there but they killed my best friend and shot me in the leg.
