...these trucking companies that advertise their religion ?

Talked to a fellow today from Kennesaw Trucking (in Ga) who shares

the lot with the company I work with.

I asked him about his company ...he loved it...I was impressed with
what he had to say about Kennesaw Trucking.

as I walked away he stopped me and said...
'They are a very religious company'....you will get a prayer
on the qualcomm each day weather you want it or not !

What tha !?

....why does some of these people insist on this kind of stuff?

What difference does it make in the real world as to some fellows
religious pretense ?

Its time to stick to the bussiness of trucking... :roll:

Let the drivers drive....and let the owners keep thier dellusions to their self....

I'd rather have the prayer on the Qualcomm every day as opposed to my EX dispatcher sending me messages about not making U-turns or parking on the shoulder /on ramps ...Or how driver so and so was detained for 2 days at the receiver/shipper ,but he put $50.00 on his check to make up for the lost time due to his "positive attitude" Gee wow 2 days sitting and a positive attitude about not being paid well got him $50.00 dollars I bet that puts curtains on his room at moms house :wink: :lol:

Where I work (Millis) ....my QC practiaclly never sez a thing.....

I could rob a bank ...and as long as the frieght got their on time I would still never hear my QC go off.

Yes i see what you say..

No bee in my bonnett other than I want to investigate working for them
(cause they run west to a degree...solos as far as Oklahoma...in emergencies California and Wash state.)...

Hmm, didn't know Kennesaw was that way too.

I thought Covenant and St. Micheal's were 2 of the biggest 'Bible Beaters' out
there.

Maybe, we should start a thread list of ---Christian Trucking Companies

Both for those seeking such, and so others can 'avoid' the Lord.

I think when you start a company it's tempting for these business owners whom hire from the general population to attempt "social" and "moral" advancement of their faith. Power corrupts.....absolute power corrupts absolutely. After all, they are holding you captive on their truck----same basic principles were used by early Missionaries ----three hots & a cot, but you got to listen to the preaching and convert.


there should be an 'opt' out on receiving that daily prayer---

why don't you call in one morning--and ask for 3 a day, in Arabic and foot wash & blanket. See, what they think?

Its nothing against Jesus and his philosophy...it has to do with driving a truck....going where you like (out west :wink: )...and being left alone...
a sense of freedom for what its worth.

What's with you and your inability to ignore it instead of bitch about it? This topic comes up every once in a while and I am just amazed at the people who are completely incapable of dealing with it. Are you losing sleep? Gaining or losing weight? How about depression? Arthritis, lumbago, herpes, Aids, ingrown toenail or any other ailment you have that you can blame on the fact that some trucking companies advertise their religion? Grow up and get a life. If this is the worst you can come up with to bitch about you are doing pretty good.
