I work for Miller in little rock, and I love it. we run strictly legal and still make $1000 a week with paid for insurance and retirement. I make 41.25 cents a mile. Loaded and 29 cents per mile empty. Productive pay: 1370 per hour. Nonproductive pay: 1215 per hour. I average 2000 miles a week, which isnt' a whole lot, but the hourly pay makes up for it. we are paid for averything but fueling the truck...Sleeping in the truck we are paid 15/ nite and we get 15dollars/24hours for meals. i generally make 150 per week per diem on top of my pay for road expense. The company pays for motels and pays you on layover....the compant requires 23 years old and 1 year otr but will knock off 6 months otr for exceptional cases/ good work history/any questions....wonderman5050atyahoo.com or.. here

Miller runs two company terminals in Arkansas, N little Rock Ar,and eldorado Ar. the rest of the terminals are owner operator terminals. We run central regional and east from there.
Miller has no training program to teach you to drive, the training that you get is on the safe use of the tanks and products we haul.

Since your company has only 2 company-run terminals, with the rest being run by o/ops, does that mean that if one were to work out of the Elizabeth, PA terminal, one would be working for an o/o, and not the company ? Thanks once again.

Thanks once again. At West Elizabeth PA (Niro WV is the home terminal) you would either work for a "Fleet" O/O, or Miller will finance a truck for you. One thing you need to understand about that last... You would be financing a truck through Miller..not leasing a truck from them. Once you have finance paperwork signed for purchasing a truck, then you sign paperwork leasing that truck to Miller as an Owner Operator. You would have a specific number of payments, which are deducted from the weekly settlement. For someone with no credit history..or poor credit, it might be a good deal. However, if you have halfway decent credit, you can outside finance a truck, with half the monthly payment and interest, and be money ahead. When you buy a truck, you either have to be willing to work your butt off to make your payments, or you are going to lose that butt, fast, if you want to sit at home. I have seen many guy's lose their butt, because they wanted to sit at home 3 days a week. Now Wonderman listed Little Rock and El Dorado AR as company terminals, which they are. Both of those terminals employ company drivers. However, they are only 2 terminals that he listed. The other Miller terminals that employ company drivers goes like this, Lansing IL (Chicago), Saint Louis MO, Memphis TN, Hattiesburg MS, Morrow GA (Atlanta), Mobile AL, Savannah GA, and Greensboro NC. All of those terminals have company drivers. They also have Owner Operator's based at them.
