But on the flip side what would a highly religious person of say christian faith do if they were sent Qualcomm messages praising Allah ...or some Pagan religion ...Do you think they would ignore it ,Or choose the "OPT OUT" you suggested or instead protest that they do not want to be exposed to such Blaspheme ,and file legal suite until it's like Burger King ,and they have things their way ...Just saying for argument sake of views from both sides ...However in life I've not yet been negatively effected by anyones religious beleifs at work or play .
I'm sure that some would protest and/or start legal proceedings but IMO that would be the wrong approach. Just leave. This is still a free country (kinda sorta at least for a little while longer). Take advantage of it.

It is amazing that you feel this way. I feel pressure from religion in nearly every aspect of my life.

Maybe you spend too much time thinking and worrying about it. Do that and you are bound to feel pressure.

I probably used the wrong word. Instead of pressure, I would like to substitute influence

I'd rather have the prayer on the Qualcomm every day as opposed to my EX dispatcher sending me messages about not making U-turns or parking on the shoulder /on ramps ...Or how driver so and so was detained for 2 days at the receiver/shipper ,but he put $50.00 on his check to make up for the lost time due to his "positive attitude" Gee wow 2 days sitting and a positive attitude about not being paid well got him $50.00 dollars I bet that puts curtains on his room at moms house

wow!! fifty whole dollars!!

Can you fill me in as to what went wrong for him :?:

The company I am with (Millis Transfer) appears to be in the beginning stages of circling the drain....
Dont know whats going on with them

this is what he told me. I cant verify any of it. at orientation, he was told that he would get a brand new truck ( he has over 20 years experience) the first day they told him that they gave the new truck to a team and he got their old one..they said after 5 years you get a 10,000 dollar bonus check, but no one he met there had ever gotten it. they told him he could be home every weekend and even had him fill out a form requesting it. then they kept him out 2 to 3 weeks at a time. they want you to do all of your running at night. ..
he said he backed into a truck at a truck stop and put a minor dent in it, he had the driver paged and he never showed up. so he left a note on the truck with name, company and truck number, when he got in they fired him for having a hit and run wreck.. again, this is what he told me, I wasnt there and I dont know anyone else who has worked there

That was my response after getting the message on my Qualcom ,and taking the time to read it...And was also part of the unprofessional use of the Qualcom my dispatcher used to terminate me ...What is really unprofessional is that my ASSCLOWN dispatcher would send that message to a driver and expect another driver to think RIGHT ON $50.00 bucks SWEET DEAL that's worth 2 days of my time as a professional driver . If my dispatcher wants to see a smile over being detained for 2 days ,and being paid FIFTY bucks I suggested he hit up a TELETHON .
