I am a true libertarian when it comes to drug issues. I do drink a few beers now and then, don't do drugs mainly because i just don;t enjoy it and know I can;t handle it. I guess the main thing that is different about alcohol and drugs is one is legal and the other isn't. I think people should get a second chance on one hand. On the other I like to see that it is hard to qualify for driving positions. The harder it is to qualify the lower the supply of drivers and the more they will have to take care of the ones they got. But that is a more personal reason then a social one.

Who did you end working for, or did you just can the idea of trucking?

Seems I have to waite till its been 5yrs old. my offence was in 2004. So next year. The Possession charge is on my license too, when will that get off? They were suspended for six months back in 05 from this incident. Which of course I got caught driving to work at the time.
I'll make it to trucking though. And I'll be one of the safest driver out there too. Been through too much . . .

What is possion? Is that a new type of drug. I was a cop for 20 yrs. and never got the chance to frame anyone with that nor find that type of crime on the books. It's always the cops fault!! People never commit crimes. We should empty the prisons for all the mistakes those people committed. Bad Cops!

"I take my driving "seriously now" .....Oh RIGHT...Until the NEXT opportunity to get high presents itself...BTW, learn how to spell. Unlike some of the posters, I don't make apologies. Sure, I've made mistakes, however NONE involving DRUGS and breaking the law and then whined about "why won't anyone trust me with an 80,000lb vehicle" ? Heres the facts: YOU ARE NOT NEEDED OR WANTED on America's highways. You WILL use drugs AGAIN. Statistics bear this out. You are a RISK, pure and simple and I do not apologize for my views. If you were asking for advice on becoming a "baker" for example, no-one would have a problem. Instead you ask us (the motoring public at large) to "trust you"...Sorry, I don't..However, all you druggies just see yourselves as societies "victims" and want us to feel sorry for you. Too bad, I don't. Flame me, I could give a rats ass..."whaaa-"I don't use drugs-I'm not going into detail blahblahblah" Any excuse in a storm ? You still haven't taken responsibility for your actions and you never will. Facts are they don't charge/convict you for POSSESSION unless you have them on you. Save that BS for someone else...
Well said!!!!!!! Absolutely correct!!!!!!!

Zealots and the unforgiving are generally fighting internal demons. Here are a few examples.

Jimmy Swaggert - Fire and Brimstone Preacher. Got outed by a REALLY SKANKY hooker. UGH, I remember the Penthouse shots -EWWWW :?

Larry Craig - 20-years ago claimed he wasn't a homo. This was before anyone even asked him if he was queer. Been fighting against queers ever since. He got busted soliciting homo sex in the Men's Room at the Minneapolis Airport.

Jim Bakker - Another preacher saving us from sin and the evils of the flesh. He got to bang Jessica Hahn, not bad considering his wife looked hideous. She divorced him and he lost the amusement park. Probably was worth it.

Ted Haggard - another "Family Values" Old Testament preacher. Got busted by his homo prostitute. A closet queer with a head full of meth. Lets all give a big Hallelujah!

The list goes on and on.

Feederfred could be having flashbacks and thinking he is God. Perhaps he's an oxy freak experimenting with gerbils. Maybe his wife is a crackhead and rifled his 401K. It's hard to say from here. But a little scratching around his noggin will definitely show all is not well.

FWIW, we have had a coke head alcohlic with his finger on the button for the last 7-years. That is a far bigger problem than someone being in the wrong place at wrong time with the wrong stuff

Best of luck.

I am proud to say I have NEVER participated in EVER taking illegal drugs at any time in my life. I didn't feel the need to experiment.
And as far as all the losers you name that went down in flames.....They were losers from the beginning that just got put in the wrong position and they couldn't handle it.

If you have a possession charge and then your license was suspended for 6 months, you better look into another kind of work. Can you say"Do you want fries with that"? Most trucking companies aren't going to talk to you due to insurance.I hope you stay clean and get straightened up.If you stay clean for a few years, then give trucking a shot again.Another thing, whatever 'friends'you were with while you were doing drugs, stay away from them.Whatever happens G/L.
