When a driver finishes orientation and gets a truck do they route you home to get your truck set up or do they run you for a week or two with just the things you bring to orientation?

They give you a choice on wether you run or make a swing by the house. You may have to run for a day or 2 to get home but they will send you in that direction to stock up your stuff if you choose to do so. They are pretty good about getting people by the house when they need to most of the time.

If ya got anyother questions shoot me a pm...if i dont answer right away it just means i am rolling and have no net connection but I will get back at ya with any info I can get to ya.

Not to bring back up a dead thread...but i just got out my past and current pay statements from Barr Nunn for this year and ran some numbers that are correct and accurate. I left the company and rode home from Ohio on July 1st of this year. up untill that point i ran a total of
59,320 miles. After mileage pay, band pay and bonuses( 2nd half of my sign on and 60,000 mile bonus) I averaged 44.1 cpm for that exact 6 month period. If you take out the bonus money i still averaged .429 cpm for the 6 months and these numbers pretty much mirror what i did in the 5 months i was with them in 2006 I will not argue with Seadawg, I beleive him because I have run into so many other drivers in the same boat as him at Barr Nunn....but if for whatever reasons if you end up in the right places or on the right dispatch board, there is money to be made there. I just thought i would put my personal numbers on the table. Yes these are pre tax numbers but that doesnt really matter. i know that there are alot of companies that you have no shot in hell at this gross or average cpm so just thought i would share these numbers if for nothing else to show that there is more out there then just the lowball starter companies...get that first year in...you can do better than .29 cpm
