Ruan and Jim Aartman, Inc...
Ruan bought Aartman a little over a year ago, and the deal was finalized Jan. 26th, 2007. Ruan does run OTR with Aartman's old equipment, though all of the old silver and black trucks are slowly being replaced with Ruan trucks (white Internationals). Aartman's HQ is located in Ripon, CA (south of Sacramento) though many of their drivers from the Mulberry, FL yard think that that is where it's at. :roll: Anyway, I strongly suggest you give Jon a call and see what he can do. Aartman/Ruan could possibly work good for you, as they have a run from Farina, IL that comes right there to Vegas (Ken's Foods), right down the road from the T.A. at exit 33. Like I said before, you would be getting through there running for Ripon.
Another food-grade company you may wanna consider that gets there frequently is L.C.L. A very good friend of mine used to drive there and would regularly run to Henderson with chocolate, then would wash out right there in North Vegas before reloading back to the Midwest or East Coast.
