I can tell you they only use the BMI card if you are a complete... blubb-ah... mess, or they just don't want to hire you...I state this because GTS used the BMI and I'M 240-245 at 5'6 but a wide 240 not round ,and usually asked do You lift ...play football...what do you bench ,so despite being 100lbs over my ideal weght ever had a word mentioned about my BMI short commings .

The recruiter at Deboer stood me up. I was told I was hired and that orientation was on monday. The recruiter said he would call back Saturday morning w/ confirmation info for travel. I quit my current job, and saturday comes and no word. I tried to call but no answer in recruiting. I guess I could flap my wings to get there ( it is a 6 hour drive to orientation ) but I dont even know where the heck to go.

i wonder if throwing out messages to the companies that will not hire you AT THIS TIME accusing them of age discrimination will hamper your future efforts? what the real reason for companies not hiring you is the economy. there is no driver shortage anymore!!! if there was ever really one to begin with. well for a company to hire you, train you to get a cdl, train you to drive it will cost over 8500 dollars. to hire a driver with experience will cost about 1200 dollars. this is why no one will hire you right now, not your age. but i assume from reading your posts that you will never beleive this. it is all someone elses fault that they will not hire you...you actually seem like you are looking for a BIG settlement when you prove that someone discriminatted against you in regards to your age. good luck with that, afterall it is the american way to look for a free handout or the easy way out.
