I'm not on here for a recruiting bonus, and will never give anyone the info they need to put me down as a reference so that I get a recruiting bonus. Not the way I work. I believe that the $1.25 is contingent on several factors such as idling ect. The cold hard fact about leasing from any company is that you are NOT an independent contractor. You are an easy revenue maker for that company. They are good at selling you on "owning your own business", but the only thing you own is a large amount of debt. A long time ago a wise old truck driver told me " do not work for the truck, make the truck work for you"

They even boast that their average length of haul is about 1000 miles. I doubt anyone actually gets those $1.52 per mile loads, as they don't exist - that's why CRE offers it. It gives them an expense-free way of saying they pay $1.52 per mile.

2006 revenue vs cost
134,123 paid miles 141,763 revenue 59244 variable costs 45141 fixed costs These are my numbers for 2006 in this truck. I thought if was pretty good for first year driving a truck. Take it for what it's worth. This was before we went to the sliding pay scale most of these loads were paid at the .85 and .87 cents scale. New starting rate is .89/mile. The 1.25 per gallon is an option, but if you are getting better than 6 miles per gallon, the FSC puts your fuel below 1.25/gallon.

The 1.25 is not the FSC it is an actual fuel CAP. If your fuel mileage stays above 4.85 paid miles per gallon then you never pay more than 1.25 per gallon. I came off of it cuz I'm getting a little better than 6

How many did I do? NONE. For it to be on a sliding scale it has to be picked up at the original destination and dropped off at the final BY YOU. So if they give you a 75 mile run and you pick it up in a drop yard, you get 89cpm. ALSO...truck number 92200 would indicate you have a 2000 year model. As with ALL England trucks the last number is the year of manufacture. Or is this a souped up 2010 model? AND they don't tell you about the FSC. Why? It makes them money. To get fuel at $1.25 per gallon you have to: keep fuel mileage above 4.3mpg fuel at 60% of their approved stops (the big seven) Now with the fsc... I got 6.2 paid mpg ALL THE TIME. The FSC rebate was about $.22 cpm (varies with cost of fuel) When fuel was $2.19 a gallon last fall I got about .22cpm When it was $2.69 I got about .28cpm So...6.2 mpg times .22cpm is $1.364 rebate per gallon. Fuel was $2.19 My final cost per gallon? $2.199 -$1.364 $0.83 <PER GALLON!!! England won't tell you that. They want you to think their $1.25 per gallon is a great thing. THEY POCKET THE DIFFERENCE!!! |
