You wont give out any info, yet you give your truck #?that makes NO sense. And once you sign with england you are obligated to move freight exclusively through them. And It is apparent youre sold on there illusion, because you mention running your own "business"..How is it "your" own business?,you dont have a business license, your truck says "england" on the side of it,and you dont own,nor will you ever own that lease truck, and on top of that you still have a driver manager who is your supervisor.Think about it,after you get done with this 3year lease you would have payed out $96,000 + towards a truck you will never OWN.Does that sound intelligent to you?then again,it probably does to a person like you. There is nothing you can say to dissuade anyone here,i personally just got done driving for england OTR for a year str8,not one ticket, not one accident.IT doesnt make sense for a person to stay at england unless another trucking wont take them.ITs a fact that england is one of thee lowest paying companies in the industry, its a fact that theyre currently in litigation up the wazoo for not disclosing pertinent details in there "lease" contracts.YOu sell your fantasies to someone else, because no one here is buying.

.89 to 1.52 per mile plus fuel surcharge
the recruiter I talked to didn`t mention anything about a FSC, what he said was that I would be paying $1.25 per gallon flat rate. Now,that does sound pretty good to me...if it`s a true.

I believe that the $1.25 is contingent on several factors such as idling ect. The cold hard fact about leasing from any company is that you are NOT an independent contractor. You are an easy revenue maker for that company. They are good at selling you on "owning your own business", but the only thing you own is a large amount of debt. A long time ago a wise old truck driver told me " do not work for the truck, make the truck work for you"

100 miles or less pays $1.52 per mile. Wow - that's amazing.

They even boast that their average length of haul is about 1000 miles. I doubt anyone actually gets those $1.52 per mile loads, as they don't exist - that's why CRE offers it. It gives them an expense-free way of saying they pay $1.52 per mile.

That is their FSC - it slides around so that you pay no more than $1.25 per gallon. At $2.80 per gallon on a 6 mpg truck (which is probably what they calculate it at), that would be a $0.258 per mile FSC, which is pretty normal, and isn't anything special. They simply reword it so that it sounds like something spectacular.

2006 revenue vs cost
134,123 paid miles
141,763 revenue
59244 variable costs
45141 fixed costs

These are my numbers for 2006 in this truck. I thought if was pretty good for first year driving a truck. Take it for what it's worth. This was before we went to the sliding pay scale most of these loads were paid at the .85 and .87 cents scale. New starting rate is .89/mile. The 1.25 per gallon is an option, but if you are getting better than 6 miles per gallon, the FSC puts your fuel below 1.25/gallon.

The 1.25 is not the FSC it is an actual fuel CAP. If your fuel mileage stays above 4.85 paid miles per gallon then you never pay more than 1.25 per gallon. I came off of it cuz I'm getting a little better than 6

How many $1.52 per mile loads did you haul last year?

How many did I do? NONE.
For it to be on a sliding scale it has to be picked up at the original destination and dropped off at the final BY YOU.

So if they give you a 75 mile run and you pick it up in a drop yard, you get 89cpm.

ALSO...truck number 92200 would indicate you have a 2000 year model.
As with ALL England trucks the last number is the year of manufacture.
Or is this a souped up 2010 model?

AND they don't tell you about the FSC. Why? It makes them money.
To get fuel at $1.25 per gallon you have to:
keep fuel mileage above 4.3mpg
fuel at 60% of their approved stops (the big seven)

Now with the fsc...
I got 6.2 paid mpg ALL THE TIME.
The FSC rebate was about $.22 cpm (varies with cost of fuel)
When fuel was $2.19 a gallon last fall I got about .22cpm
When it was $2.69 I got about .28cpm

So...6.2 mpg times .22cpm is $1.364 rebate per gallon.
Fuel was $2.19
My final cost per gallon?
$2.199
-$1.364
$0.83 <PER GALLON!!!

England won't tell you that. They want you to think their $1.25 per gallon is a great thing. THEY POCKET THE DIFFERENCE!!!
