Well, I hope you got the answer you were looking for. Take my advice....when you get warn on this board about a company, stay away from that company.

But we all here know that you might not pay attention, or just blow off the board entirely......

Good luck.

The dirtiest, most vindictive, bottom feeding, two bit trucking company I've ever heard of. Ive heard crap on them since I starting trucking 13 years ago. OOIDA went after them. They put up a front that is paper thin. I really cant figure out how they get anyone to drive for them. It has to be there are a lot of truly uninformed, ignorant, desperate people out there. I wonder if they are going after Mexican drivers.?

10 years for me, but the same story. I almost went to their school, but I'm really glad I didn't!! I have never heard one encouraging word about CR England.

Unless they quit training in Burlington, NJ in the last two years. They use to have a sign that said "Learn to drive Here"

Truen. Heck I am a product of CRE School. ANd I do drive decent. Did not have an accident till my last 4 months driving. and only one of 3 was my fault. Others was unpreventable by me. Theopne I was at fault, I'll admit I was being Stupid. not paying attention ahead, trying to get over after passing an old lady and soon as I turn my blinker on she sped up on me.

Well here is one, I went to their school in utah and they do have a good school, it was 3 1/2 weeks when i went in 05 but its now 2 1/2 weeks.

You need to do 2 safety classes and pass alot of safe drive testing on the road before you get to try for your CDL, the DMV does not do the CDL there in salt lake city, england gives the test but they obey the state rules, and they are tough on them, they can teach you to drive well but as far as the company itself, I wouldn't work for them more then the 5 weeks that you drive with a trainor, I trained at englands school and after 5 weeks I ended up with swift and I never had even 1 close call in the 2 months I was with swift, can't say that about my mentor who trained with swift, he ran another truck off of the raod. Good Luck

Until I found this site, I was looking hard at England and PAM. After reading about them here, I decided to stay local.

Remember that some long haul companies are good if you live close to a terminal. You could still get home more often that way.
