Default Gainey Transportation?

Just when you think you're done researching! One last swoop (I'm prayin') before the mister makes up his mind  . Anyone know anything about Gainey? What would they be like coming out of So Cal? Appreciate any insight we can get...

Try doing what I'm doing... Hit the truck stops, malls, stores, rest stops ect where you see truckers and talk to them. I've found good and bad about companies, mileage per week, month, CPM, ( practical or shortest ) How they treat there drivers. You can find out a lot more that way than asking here.

Not saying people here don't know about other companies, it's just your hearing it first hand this way, and not word of mouth.

Default Gainey

Well driver you would be working out of the Ranco office. I drove for Gainey for 3 months till I had to come home for a family problem. GTS is a good company if you get a good dispather. The dispatcher I had is one of the best at GTS and his name is Cobey. Being in So Cal are you running to specialized unit that runs I-5? I am not real sure about that part of the company. Pay is good at Gainey but before you pay any toll ask the dispatcher. They are one company that hates reinbursing tolls. Other than that they give you the miles if you want them. I never ran under 2700 a week and most weeks where around 2900 - 3300 a week (7 days) They have a good police as for staying out. most drivers like to stay out 2 weeks and then home 3 days. Gainey if you talk to the dispatcher can get you home for every weekend. Gainey is a very good company. If you make it to the Dallas Term. for GTS tell shorty (Security Gaurd Working Nights Mon - Thurs) that Slider 500548 says hey. GTS also has good trucks. Most are set at 70mph but some are wide open. most all the 500000 numbered trucks are and if you want your truck turned up stop at the Atlanta Term and talk to Carl. He will set you right up and get you back to running. If you need more info please feel free to ask.

Happy Holidays,

I drove for Gainey until the first of this month and you will not see the west coast if you are a solo driver ,Gainey only tries to run teams out west, and the east coast for solo drivers and take a lot on cash with you because they do not have EZ Pass and you will not get reimbursed for all of your tolls and other expenses.

Default GTS Runs

Gainey will allow any driver to the east and west coast. Team or Solo doesn't matter. You just have to tell you dispatcher that you want to run there. They dont uselly dispatch Calif. run to solo drivers when your on the east coast or mid west cause of the mile to the consignee. But if you tell the dispatcher that you will run them all you can get any load you want. I was running mostly Dallas to Atlanta, Atlanta to Groveport, OH, Groveport to Gulfport, MS, Gulfport to Dallas, Dallas to Rancho, Rancho to Kansas City. So they get drivers all over just have to talk to the dispatcher

Hubby and I team drive for GTS and love it!! We get great miles and our tolls are reimbursed. Just make sure to get approval first. Our DM has been great about everything including hometime. We like to stay out for at least 5-6 weeks at a time and so far that has worked for us.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm or im me!!

Default GTS

I also have to admit that GTS is a good company. But was told in orentation that there was no reason to ask about tolls. Well now I knwo I should have. If i may ask what term are you and your husband out of? Directed towards MtDewR. I was out of the KCK term but spent alot of time in the Dallas, Atlanta and Rancho term. I am slider.

Happy Holidays
